dont get me wrong im not hating on the guy, i just think he takes l33t'ism to the next level with his guide to edm, and his track selection imo is fatally flawed, but he gets mad props for actually taking the time to sit down and work on a project that vast.

ya but his genres are pretty fuckin funny, and you can tell he hates all trance post 1996..... LOL

Wrong, there are only a couple of genres out of the entire guide that he hates with a passion.

Ishkur has a lot of sarcastic humor. I find some of it is hard to convey through words alone but you can ask the man himself, go to:

http://www.di.fm

and to the forums, and ask him cheerfully. He frequents there

I listened to those tracks, under the manner you described (even took a drive and everything), and I didn't feel a god damn thing. The music was hokey, banal, and silly.

So no, you are wrong.

Arrow

I totally agree with you

there is also atmospheric progressive trance

What are you all talking about? Why the hell do you say I hate those genres? (which I don't even know which genres you mean)

He amazed me in being so kind and subdued in reply. Maybe taking potshots at the trance community over something this ridiculous and silly would be too easy for Ish to waste his words on.
