Some tracks are good, I have the same opinion of Psy-T...
It's sure, there's too much House music here but it's a way better like that because I don't want that all those people listen to Trance as if they were listening to... britney spears !!!

French house reminds me of chillout too much.

Thomas Bangalter is genius

but french clubbing scene i shitty, as Neo said people go clubbing just to shake their ass and meet a girl/guy... music has nothing to do with that
as long as people can dance to the beat... or sing a r&b song they heard on the radio.
But radios/medias want to keep their artists/djs. As usual we're fucking late, trance is too "new" i guess.
The french clubbing culture has to evolve.

It's simple why trance isn't popular in France: since the beginning of the history of music in Europe, Germany and France keep the balance by doing opposite things, which is one of the best things that could happen in the continent, musically wise. Germans were pioneers in the use of electronic music made by synths (Kraftwek), the French created the discothques.

Get that together and you've got the roots of the clubbing scene. If Germany chose trance, it was natural that France would do something else. And French house c'est fantastique, w00t

Just a matter of taste.
