If I was going bald ... I'll show it and leave it alone. God made me this way, so keep it real

Coincidentally i've pretty much kept my hair short since then. If i were to go totally bald on top, I would definately shave my head (not bic, but just with a mechanical razor). Combovers, rugs, etc are for the weak

I'm in the same boat as you buddy. Been losing hair since I was 18 or 19. Just keep it short, nothing else I can do really. Not willing to spend an insane amount of money to get my hair back. I'm not that vain.

Edit:
"In the case of a man who has inherited the necessary genes for hair loss, a little of this testosterone is formed by some of the hair roots into a derivative called Dihydrotestosterone. It is Dihydrotestosterone that is actually responsible for hair loss."

See... forget the hair, testosterone is all we need.

Pull a "Mel Lastman":

Transplant your pubes to your head!!!!

(I'm not kidding, either! He really did this to achieve his "Kramer" look)

Posted by Rocco on Aug-11-2004 02:31:

i'm already starting to bald... i just say screw it. leave it the way it is. if i go bald, i go bald.

Posted by torontobarfly on Aug-11-2004 02:48:

bald is in now...it didn't used to be so when i was losing my hair i had to wear hats because back then if you shaved your head you were either a cancer patient or a skin head...in fact people used to get beat up for being bald because people mistook them for racists...seriously

but i do miss my fro

Let just say that ya gotta hope that the men in your line/branch of the family tree all kept their hair most of their lives and only had slightly receding hairlines.
All the men in my side of the family kept their hair!!!..w00t!

Well, given that both my dad and granddad have both started losing hair sometime after they turned 30, I think the same thing is in store for me as well

Hm... I guess if you start balding once you are married, it's not that big of a deal.

Sorry.. I'm a girl. But when John puts "For guys only" I get a little curious.

Isn't going bald a guys worst fear?

Not when you (a) already shave your head or (b) have an afro that explodes on command

THE SOLUTION

My apologies for my bad memory. dEsidEL reminded me that we had actually found the solution to the balding problem using Belgian technology.

Here are the results:

Sorry ladies, I'm taken ...

Like I don't have BETTER stuff to worry about than losing my hair

Although I can't say I've met DJ Kurfew, I must say the look on his face (or lack thereof) is priceless

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't male pattern baldness inherited from your mothers side of the family ?
