I quite like this. Not overly complicated but it drives along pretty well. A solid trancer 8/10

Posted by Synchronized on Aug-14-2004 13:03:

I wouldn't say that it is anything extrodinary but still it is a pretty good track.

Posted by neoraver on Aug-14-2004 13:18:

average tune, doesn't really stand out compared to other recent trance-tracks
6.5/10

8.5/10 Very nice track

One of the best tracks so far.. 9.5/10, fuckin great melody.

Posted by Frase on Aug-15-2004 18:46:

Fuckin awesome track

so much emotion in that breakdown

Posted by wwu.punisher on Aug-16-2004 07:12:

A friend of mine (fellow TA delane) got me an advance hook-up on this through some people he knows in Europe. I like the track, but some of the older Signum tracks seemed to hit me a bit harder than this one. I'd give it an 8/10.

Posted by XeQtOr on Aug-16-2004 14:00:

Quite an average tune from Signum IMO.. They really should try to make something a bit fresher sounding and give up on using those same old sounds in all their tunes..

Agreed.

I was quite disappointed with "Come Around Again" with all the guitars and what not - so I was pleased with this new subtle release.
The melody is nice and simple - the breakdown gorgeous! Only thing I didnt really like is that "Above & Beyond" sound, that generic bassline? Hopefully, they won't add any vocals on the proper release.
Will definetly get this when it comes out!

Posted by isoterra on Aug-24-2004 02:47:

Found it boring & generic. No way near as energetic & anthemic as Push Through... may just be my evolving tastes but it seemed to just drag on :-/

Posted by Mattsanity on Aug-24-2004 03:44:

Is it just me or do certain tracks fade away in interest instead of growth on it? This tune is a prime example.

This is the kind of tune that you forget how it goes after it ends. Boring and generic.

Haha yep... I had to retrieve it from the recycle bin & listen again with all the praise it was getting. Was still shit, went back in

you have to hear that build-up on a big system.. trust me, it's huge.

Posted by PEZ68 on Aug-24-2004 21:10:

every tune is better on a big system

Every build is huge on a big system, that's hardly a mark of a good track.

Posted by Streakfury on Aug-26-2004 17:13:

But then most EDM tracks are made first and foremost to be played on a big system. So if it sounds good on one, it's kinda done it's job.

well yeah, but then you have tracks that are bigger than others, if you know what i mean.. and i'm not talking about the amount of release on the synths or whatever. that bassline really lifts you up.. the combination with that main lead and its synths works so well.

but there's no point in arguing really, it's all about taste, and feeling.. and the feeling i get when this track is played out is immense.

Well to be fair you said the same about Tiesto's Adagio did you not?

Agree with this definitely. Main case in point for this year would be Whiteroom - Whiteroom. Found it weak & boring on headphones, but in a club it's really powerful & sounds great. Same goes for Tiesto - Adagio for Strings... both of them blow the roof off.

This track could fit in with that category too I guess, but I wouldn't know having not heard it out. I know how you mean though.

Yes, but it works for home for me too... This, on the other hand, is a tune that only works live which is hardly a mark of a good track...

Posted by isoterra on Aug-26-2004 18:20:

Ah ok, fair enough

Posted by ams2003 on Aug-28-2004 23:57:

Well it's better than 'Come Around Again'.
A nice melody but just too long stretching over 10 mins, which gets boring fairly quickly.
'Push Through' is definately one of their best imo
