I had a pie from Due's with my mom a couple weeks ago and it was the bomb. I also like My Pie, Gino's East, Giordano's, and Malnati's (though I've never eaten at the one in Chicago). Edwardo's is pretty good too, but different (lighter crust). Oh, and Bacino's ain't bad. Any of these places should do you right. Can't forget Ricobene's! Connie's, the only thing good there is the frying pan pizza.

As for thin, there's a scuzzy place in my hood called Gigio's with good foldable NY Style slices. Otherwise I can't helo you as I've never been blown away by a thin crust pie in Chicago, though Chicago's does a pretty good job. Some Leona's are actually quite good too.
