Any of you had the same feeling?

well i know most ppl will disagree with me but im still very good friends w/ some of my HS friends and will be for a long time comin. maybe its different cuz i went to an american HS in a different country hence the tight bond among me & my HS friends. we shared the experiences of living over sea togeather in an unfamiliar country which not too many other ppl are able to relate to. the history (longevity) of our friendships matter but what drew us closer is the experienes that we shared. so yeah, dont listen to what others say about HS & HS friendships. just enjoy your year & make the best of it.

as for not knowing what you want to do w/ your life, dont sweat it so much. there are so many oppurtunities after you get out of HS. not only college. most of my friends whove graduated or are in the process of graduating changed their majors at least once, if not multiple times. also many of the ppl i know that never completed college have very reputable good jobs w/o the college degrees to show for it. plus, between the age of 17-early 20s = age of uncertainties imo. its not expected for you to know what the hell you want to do w/ the rest of your life. you only know what you want to do and your true life calling only after youve experienced many different things; see what life has to offer before you take the big leap.

all i have to say is...
ENJOY highschool while you can, relish in it, savor the sweet taste of no responsibility. college is actual work, you actually have to study, and actually have to try, cause after college youre future credentials are set. i only studied maybe for 3 or 4 tests in highschool, maybe a total of about 3 hours of out of school time put into it. and i graduated with a damn good gpa, well over a b average. i remember partying all night for most of the week and dragging my lazy ass from class to class, only waking up to take the seldom quiz/test...

it was fun, class time was social time, playing cards, talking, wandering the hallways, sneaking out at lunch time, trying to get past the security guard at the entrance... just not going! heh.. fun times...

sure in college its easier to not study and not goto class, but you get fucked! and you are only fucking yourself, cause a 4 year degree isnt much in this day and age, and to goto grad school or anything above that you need damn good grades. so enjoy your time in highschool, cause if you do plan on setting yourself up right in college, thats when the real work begins...

but if you arent going to college or are relying on a measly 4 year degree, i spose highschool could be viewed as a bad time...

i miss it.... not the people necesarily, just the lack of responsibility.

This is pretty much how high school has been so far, nothing to serious as far as work goes.

Woo you people in Australia have a different school season (school all most over weird).Yeah the legal age to drink is 21 but its way to easy to get a hold of beer here in the states.

I didn't go to prom....but I did go to all the bangin after-parties...

Look at it this way: you get to do the same stuff you'd just be looking forward to during the actual event, plus you can spend the money you saved on booze.

starting my senior year, the thing im not looking foward to is writing these gay college application esseys. im up to my neck in these.

This is my last year of high school and for some reason I really want to get back. After that my plans are to go to university and take something along the lines of science and engineering (biomedical engineering perhaps). But I've always loved working out at the gym and I might study something like kinesology and become a personal trainer.

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do.... sigh
