not possible to hear a trainwreck there, it was full of echo anyway, so it sounded like it was off the whole time

Posted by dj_mdma on Aug-13-2004 23:49:

i enjoyed it and would like to see it again

Exactly what Haak said. How are you supposed to get an accurate idea of his set when you can barely hear it and there is a massive echo in the stadium?

at TTA

Cheers,

I'm watching the replay now... don't think u guys can really tell if he's trainwrecking everything.

And what's the deal with baggin Tiesto?

Any of you had so much success? To the point to be able to play at the Olympic Games?

The crowd seem to be loving it. It's making quiet an atmosphere by the looks of it.

It would be good if someone got a rip his set off the mixer, and mabie throw in the crowd cheering in the teams as they are announced.

Would be a mpeg really worth having.

I think they should have picked a deejay that would not have trainwrecked in front of that many people. Tiesto got his 200K and his pound of coke, he's hoping his album sales go thru the roof.

LOL yea and not to mention he probably secured his popularity award (dj of the year once again....sigh)

I have to say i'm pretty happy. I remember on time when the local news said the words "Paul Van Dyk" (he was playing for new years.) To hear "Tiesto" on prime time TV is pretty dope. But quite in all most people won't know who he is, for the most part cuz you can't hear him.

Wow, you actually HEARD them say Tiesto!!

Our knobs of commentators haven't said his name, and after 90 minutes they showed him for a few seconds, and one said "And our DJ is still going strong", you know, cos 90 minutes is such an effort!!

Television isn't my forte and I didn't see this.

However, I'd like to archive a digital recording for memories.

In Tiesto's own words:

"The average age of the athletes is 21, 22. They don't want to hear a classical music tape. They want to party -- they're having the time of their lives. They want good, quality dance music."

Sure, have fun. Sounds good to me.
