A little short term sacrifice can go a long way.

Its much easier to stay at your ideal weight than actually get there.

The only problem with what spec layed out is... Im not gonna be sitting at work and weighing the food Im gonna be eating.

Otherwise, its a solid diet.

What I did to loose 20lbs in a month was this:

No white bread at all, only whole wheat.
No soda, alittle juice, mostly water.
No sweets what so ever.
Ate fruit salad. (Ingr. Grapes, Honeydew, Cantelope, Apples, and Orange)
Ate a regular salad. (Ingr. Lettuce, Broccolli, Cucumber, Green Pepper, Carrots, & Grilled Chicken w/ Raspberry Vinegrette) I would usually split this into 2 meals.
Ate a piece of Grilled Chicken w/ whatever veggies I had at home.

As far as workout, I would swim 2-3 times a week.

The weight has stayed off eventhough Ive been slacking, Im going back on the diet to try to shed 20 more lbs.

Once you roughly know how much those servings are it pretty easy to remember the portion sizes.

You need to get a little scientific to get results.
