i dont believe it! the one that i thought had fucked off resurfaced 5 mins ago. i was lieing on my bed. turned over and the bastard was on the wall next to me less then a foot from my face. and im really scared of them. im only wearing shorts cus im so hot and i instantly got goosebumps all over n started shaking no1 else is up so i caught him in a glass after stairing at him for 10 minuetes before hand. then flushed the **** down the bog. i hate spiders

there was a spider that was just as big in my bathroom.

though i had the satisfaction of toasting it and actually setting it alight.

i cant say it was 8cm, but more like 7-8cm

still a big mofo for an uk housespider
