I remember when i first started recording music on a tape recorder. Then the big thing was 'hard disk recording' -wow; state of the art!

Now i cant imagine life without file swaping via the internet. Where would i get all my Loops? OMG Id be lost!!!

back in the days when Nintendo Power and Gamepro were big

back when Neo Geo was sold...500 bucks....failed in less than 5 months.

Yep. I still play the game on a regular basis, and have been doing so since I was six or seven. It may be old, but there's no denying the Godfather of modern gaming.

I always had computer games, but I used to do a lot more sports, but in a way, i've met people more similar to myself in the way i think and my personal tastes by using the net, it has great advantages, but there's going to be a point when it does become hard, I don't believe letting kids online that much is educational, i was 17 when i first went online, and I'm grateful that i got to grow up offline before coming online.

I remember having to sift through endless magazines to get codes. Having to actually go to each store or read newspaper articles if the store had certain items and to compare prices. To get real reports, and reviews on products you had to talk to people that owned them and that was fucking gay. I remember having to listen to music on the radio or have "records" or "tapes" or the new "cd" which was mad expensive.

That's exactly what I find attractive from the old days, going through magazines, going through endless piles at shops, actually doing effort to find things and getting good at em. Taking the example of records, anybody can find an MP3 rip of exclusive tracks and play it nowadays, it sucks.

And you think it's 'gay' to talk to people and finding out about stuff? In what way is that gay? Please release your keyboard and actually try it for a while, you might be positively surprised.

I have to admit that the Internet made things easier (record prelistening, finding information), but calling the old-fashioned ways of information gathering 'gay' is a bit too harsh, I'd say.
