thank god its at metro and not a big event..they seem to be lifeless these days for nye...metro will be pumping..

and to the gimp suggesting qbh..its already booked for lieb..and metro is a way better venue than qbh

dave..fergie plays techno these days..he was fuckin awesome at tt..the best act by far..but i dont know whether youll like him or not

sweet stips, i'll see how i handle it.. i don't mind some of the techno the MTM guys used to play.. i just dont like tech trance, championed by tiesto and stuff these days

bring on av fucking b i say! this time can he please play more of his friggen classics like sound of goodbye, and eternity?

i really dont see anything wrong with tech trance...

i actually prefer to hear tracks like armin/mike-intruder these days then the rest of the stuff...the sound has to keep on evolving (look at all these tracks being released that can be traced back to sounding exactly like something that was made a few years back)

ferry corsten has quoted the same thing (can anybody help with a link?), trance is finding its new form by reintroducing past sounds, which is probably why there are so many old releases in his new mix CD...

tech trance might be the direction the trance is heading at the moment, but i reckon ferry/misja/cor fijneman/other dutch djs will still produce uplifting stuff...

dont worry dave!!

i agree with stipsy, im not a huge fan of the sound that ferry is heading to. Whilst i dont hate it, i think its a more of a commercial tinge to it, which to be honest maybe its not SUCH a bad thing.. Either way, you can guarantee a great party atmosphere, and whilst they're cheesy as all fcuk, tuunes like 'rock your body rock' will lift up the crowd, no matter where, which means that tune is doing exactly what it was designed for!!!

Ferry out here = a great thing

I have been away for a week, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but Fergie won't be playing NYE, he will be doing a club tour in January.
