James it was truly an honor and a pleasure to see you play on my CDJ 1000s when you came to Houston. They even still have your signature

After seeing your set Pioneer needs to have you on the video rather than Rooney G or whatever his name is. I'll try to make it for this one, hopefully someone can ride with me or vice versa.

this is the first time i will be seeing my alltime favorite dj (since i heard his florida set from 10-03-2002 a day afterward) right before my 21st bday. (oct 6)

gonna be a special night! i hope i can get a picture of james and i for it.

i remember sasha's security for his oct 2002 show was hella tight, i wonder what it will be like...

James I was wondering if you could ID a track on one of your sets for me. In your Marconi Studios (Studio Brussel) set on 25-06-2004. The third track in this set has a quirky female vocal that says "How I feel" & "Ultimately Doubt How I feel" in it. Its such a CHOOOOON! Any help is truly appreciated. Thanks in advanced and thanks for posting up. It shows you are down to earth & have respect for your fans. Keep up the great work.

- Joel

I doubt the set will be recorded. Artist are paranoid about their work being recorded in fear it will distributed w/o their consent

My friend Martin works at the Spundae in LA. He has told me that about 99% of the time there is a clause in the contracts that disallow recording for this very reason.

Certain DJs will record the set for use later, but I know that James has released some sets that he thinks are quality to get his name out and get a bigger fanbase.

To me, recording/releasing is a smart thing (unless you really weren't on your game that night). Nevertheless, we may see a Zabiela recording. It's up to the man himself. =)

true and i understand the artists veiwpoint also but hey if i cant be there that night by then i prob have ALiVE and be listening to it that night. laters.

okay let me be clear on this ...

the tracks that I use in sets that I have paid for, are promos that were sent to me. The others either come from cds that I have purchased, and from vinyl I have rented for a percentage of the cost and made wav recordings of.

I do not use MP3s in sets because frankly... they sound like crap. This is all I am going to say about this.
