i started off going alone, although i rarely do now. you don't really have any choice when you are new to a city. fuck, i went clubbing in ibiza solo and had some fantastic times. that being said, i don't see why it's a big deal? it's not like i actually talk to the people i came with when i get there hehe. i usually go off on my own for 90% of the night anyway. i'm there to dance, and that's it. besides, i'm not going to miss out on something cos my friends don't want to go.

not having to go by anyone else's schedule is great. on the other hand, it's even better to know that your friends are there as well.

A year ago... I would have been scared shitless to go alone...

When I go out now- I would rather go with friends( theyre all TAs anyway), but there are and have been times when we all want to go to different parties. So no problem, I put out a roll call on TA and VOILA!!! Instant party peeps to hang with. even when friends want to leave early, Ill stay on but I usually scope out the place for TAs first- thats how I met Tordan, Awakenedaddict, Xavier Moriarty- amongst many other wild enigmatic people. I have had some very memorable after parties with some of these people. Ben!!!!! Remember Ritchie Hawtin at KH....damn! I wish you were around to see what I managed to attract.remind me to tell you the story

I hate that different standards apply to women than men when at parties alone esp. when the sketchies come out at the end of the party. Safer to have TAs around.....

I suppose this is a good time to Thank all the TAs ive danced with and gotten to know on and off the dance floor.

You guys RAWK!!!

Of course, nobody on TA is ever sketchy, right?

perhaps I should re-phrase, sketchies dancing in one spot, minding their own business and letting me mind mine and NOT grinding against me... against my will that is GGGGOOOODDDD!!!!

I rarely surround myself with them those shabby kinda characters- call it intuition- but I have been very lucky indeed that almost ALL the TAs( and non TAs) Ive met have impressed me more often than not.

^^ makes sense. The average TA can't be bothered with the annoying stuff you're talking about because they're too busy ID'ing tracks.

(...don't start a flame war folks, it's just a joke)

I've gone alone before. I prefer to go with others, but sometimes its hard to find people to go with. I only feel lame while I'm in line. Once I'm in, people are always friendly, and I remember that I came for the music anyway.

I've only gone alone to meet up with people inside... NO BODY FROM PICKERING PARTIES ANYMORE..

SELLOUTS

which in turn makes me a sellout.. kay i'm goin out by myself more often

i love going alone, and getting lost in the crowd. its such a cool feeling, there are thousands of people around you, and you dont know any of them! It may scare some, but i figure i am around people i know all the time, i might as well have sometime for myself.

i consider clubbing to a personal experience, something i can just relax and enjoy with by myself. I dont have to make conversation, or make sure people im with are comfortable(something i tend to do).

agree's.. listening to the music is down to personal preference and tastes... why drag ur friends along who don't understand that 3 minute breakbeat hi-hat thru the breakdown as u would.

the only time i spent my whole time at a club alone was one friday night when i went to boa for chemistry....was quite depressing actually being all alone..
