It's about style and story - always has been with any worthwhile form of entertainment.

, so no reviews from me...
Eva is simply the best anime there is followed closely by Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop. Most people that hate Eva usually dont understand it at all. I havent seen them all yet though, as they are hard to come across if you dont have much money.

Not a bad movie, although I enjoyed the original more. The artwork was amazing but the plot/story was a little weak imo.
no spoilers in my post, but only my opinion
GITS: good animation, too short, good action, okay plot, better with multiple watches
GITS SAC: good animation, good plot, good action, 8/10 really liked this series
GITS SAC 2nd Gig: more of the same, good again
GITS INNOCENCE: very good animation, but really not my kind of film, i prefer a little more action, and more of the major. not fair. just an average film in the end, nothing to get upset about missing

If you just want to get it to see it, until you can save up a bunch of money to get the real thing, I think you can get the HK version of Eva for like 35 bucks. Not too shabby. And the two bootlegs that I have that I liked, I did go buy the real version, I don't want to hear any of this "support the business" crap, because I do. |

I'll have to check if my animenfo list is updated, so I can show you what I have.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the best series I've seen. For comedy I'd say Chobits is top. And for samurai action I highly recommend Samurai Champloo.. great animation, interesting story.

a few comments ^_^
1. neither of these rips is recommended if you want good subtitles.
for more info, feel free to read this thread: http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13300
2. gits: innocence is not a sequel to the first movie
3. *points to signature* i'll remind everyone again that the anime recommendation database is quite helpful for finding new series to watch
and anyone that uses animenfo is crazy, it sucks ass for getting any useful information, unless you like badly translated descriptions that make no sense and flat out wrong information in general o_O
4. if you want GITS: SAC stuff, i have about 50 promo posters from Manga (as well as about 50 each for Kai Doh Maru, Dead Leaves, and Read or Die) and am having tons of contests on the site to win them
stay tuned on the main page or the global announces in the forum for more info.
5. hi orbax!
