most historians consider the first real, modern "World War" was the Napoleonic Wars. it was fought on multiple fronts against allies and invaders, against superpowers and fascists. it set the world stage for the World War in 1914.
it involved France,
Britain,
Spain,
Prussia,
Austria,
Italy
in battlefields of other invaded countries from Egypt to Holland.

You may as well stretch it even further by tying in the French Revolution or even the Austro-Prussian and Franco-Prussian Wars. LOL

Most historians STILL conside the first "World War" to be World War I

The LA Times has said that Cheney's deferments are 'no big deal,' the NY Times tore Bill "the Bush Basher" Burkett a new one in a front page story, and the Washington Post is calling for a full investigation of the forgery. Bush is up in the polls, and Kerry can't seem to break the Swift Vets' death grip.

In the words of General Patton, "God help me, I do love it so!"

Thread closed! hahahahaha...

Kerry should stop worrying about them. Maybe now he can grow his balls back and start attacking some real issues.

unless, of course, the Navy is wrong.

I had thought that POLLS dont matter, that the real poll to worry about, is the one in Nov.2, but if you want to speak about polls, polls themselfs are differing very well, some show giving Bush and advantage of more then 10 points, and others give a virtual Tie, and Im talking from both very prestigious Polls, the Gallup and The Pew Research.

Hehe. Sorry.

But I think we all know how "opinions" are responded to outside the political forum.

They're responded to with the same ignorance that got Bush elected in the first place.
