hah never heard n e 1 say (in real life) "LOL" "ROFL" "OMG" and etc.

Posted by Massive84 on Sep-19-2004 07:40:

hmm i don't think owned is an Internet Terminology.

I do know someone in my class, that says Lol...but then that guy has no morals or shame, last day we were on the stairs and he spitted on this head of a girl just for fun, and it was like a full one everything in his throat and nose he gatherd to spit it out haha.

Posted by DjSimonB on Sep-19-2004 15:41:

I say 'quality', but that's not unusual here. Think I picked that one off another friend, not the internet.

I could never imagine saying something like LOL in real life, typing on the computer and talking to someone are two completely different things for me.

You know how some people say "I *heart" something" online to mean that they love something, I know a girl at school who says that in real life, it sounds stupid. A bunch of us were talking and she was going to go to a Rasmus concert that night, and she came out with "I heart the Rasmus!" I'm sure I've heard her say it at other times too.

Did the girl notice? And if she did (heh, I'm sure I'd notice someone spitting on my head), how did she react?

LOL I've never said "I heart", that is too silly, but it would be funny to hear!!!

I know what event you're talking about. That's what I thought it was too, not Labour of Love, but Laugh Out Loud. I thought it was a silly name for an event. If I didn't know it was Labour of Love, I woulda called it Laugh Out Loud, too. [/RAMBLE]

I got 'Intarweb' off you, Boomer.

'OMFG I Die,' 'I cry much,' got from Arturo.

BUMP.

I've been saying Kthxbye (online AND offline) a lot lately, thanks to anuneventrade. Damn you, Sara, DAMN YOU!!!! LOL.

If I EVER heard someone say "Pics or STFU" in real life, I would LITERALLY ROFL.

Speaking of which, I literally DID ROFL at an Orlando TA party back in February. Someone got clotheslined by my videocamera's power cable and I literally fell on the floor, laughing. So I ROFLd Oh, and I was drunk, BTW, so that made it even more funny. Stupid, but funny. LMFAO

Another intarweb terminology I been using is p.o.s. mainly at work. I cuss SO much, I have to cuss mask everything i say, for the most part. once I even said FFS

Hmm....My friends and I say owned a lot, sometimes noob, lots of stfu (pronounced "stoo-foo"). I've said Lol occasionally. My friends a really good photographer, so i like to say "pics or stfu whenever he has some new photos. Sometimes I'll say Pics or stfu randomly as well. "Teh Intarweb" and "teh suck" are commom from me as well. I gotta start using Kthxbye though...would be pretty funny.

LOL

I'm trying to hook up with this REALLY cute short haired white girl who ALSO uses intarweb terminology. Last time she saw me, she said to me, "Dude, WTF?" (And I mean double-you-tee-ef) She's such a dork, I think we'd make a good couple. I'll try to get a pic of her somehow. One of my new fav. terminologies I been using is "WTBF?" (That stands for What the Bloody fuck?)

Last night I went on a go kart track and this one kid screwed up a turn and wound up facing the wall (he didnt get hurt, just stuck), and the go-karts don't have a reverse gear. I yelled, "OWNED!" at him. Pretty stupid, but he did get owned, one of the track staff had to get out onto the track and pull the kart back so he could finish the lap.

Funny how the intarweb affects life nowadays.

i'll admit it. i say owned all the time now. people get confused. its kinda funny...

Posted by DJ_Bod on Sep-27-2004 12:19:

I remember saying owned before I saw it all of the intarweb pictures... but then again, my dad likes to make up words, so I thought he made up a definition for it, and I just used it.

MY girlfriend say "I heart you" to one of her really good girl friends. Its a little odd, but I guess it's their inside joke, or something. *shrug*

Posted by DjSimonB on Sep-27-2004 19:42:

I just remembered, I've got a friend who says 'teh intarweb'.

Funny thing is, he doesn't even use the internet or own a PC, I wonder where he got it from...

i would have been all like "n00b"

hehe, "en-double ohube"

ok im retarded.

Posted by Azz3D on Sep-27-2004 20:53:

Imagine if everyone (instead of saying "owned") actually printed out hard copies of those "owned" images and plastered them on someone if the circumstances allowed it...

That would be hilarious

we're doomed

sadly, i have done this.
