I once offered $100 here on the WTB forum for Absolom - Stars (Headz on Trance Remix) After looking for it forever, I finally gave up and just had it pressed onto an acetate.

I think the most I have payed for a single record was $25 for the Tiesto - Traffic Picture disc... after I already had a copy of Traffic that I payed 17 for...

Gotta love the dumb purchases...

The one track I would pay ALOT for is Martin Eyerer - Welcome to Heaven (Strokers 2001 Remix)...
As well as Cygnus X - Superstring (Rank 1 Mix)

my girlfriend ended up paying �40 at 3beat records for mansun - wide open space, which she was told had the perfecto mix on it (which is the one that i wanted). as she doesnt know that much about tunes and she wanted to get it for me as a suprise for my birthday, she trusted the guy and bought this dodgy white labelled vinyl which just had 4 ripped mixes on it and didnt even have the perfecto mix that i wanted on it(barstewards). when we tried to take it back they just said well you bought it now and you cant return it (nobheads) so then had to find the perfecto mix in another shop for �20, so if you add them two up it equals �60. cant believe that they did that

A mate got it for me, rumour has it that it was Tiesto's own copy, but it can't really be prooved, i had been searching for it since TPOD was released which is 3 years now, only got my copy last week, its so rare as there was only 100 copies pressed, and it will never get a full release because the sample will never get clearance!!!! oh and it was written by Svenson or Gielen and someone else who i can't remember there name!!!!

you might as well give up trying to find "Autumn" as it doesn't exist, unless Arturo has a copy

Superstring is easy to get cheap because it has been pressed on Radical. Some of you guys really need to check out gemm.com. It really is the best site for hard to find records. I got Nalin and Kane - Open your eyes twice used for about $6 a piece at my local record shop. Only problem is some minor scratches. Still playable though.

Damn Dave, $40 for Answers. Is that the Red Monkey vinyl or something like that. I got it locally for like $12. I have Questions too. Great tracks.

...Can't think of anything else. I tend to luck into a lot of good deals on records, especially on eBay. Many sellers place their initial bid at $2 or $3 and people are lame and like to "pussy" bid and up the price by $.50 or $1.00, so my maximum bid almost always outbids theirs and I win the records for $5 or $7. I've gotten so many in-demand singles and tons of double or triple vinyl packs all in mint or near mint condition for these low prices. Can't ask for anything better.
