i dont know about you guys, but to this day, i love armins universal religion mix of atrc... i think its a classic and atrc in general is a beautiful song. whether mainstream or not, this track has become as much of trance as any other. i will never reconsider droppin this track at a gig. its a great ch00n and its that simple.....

Yeah, I've heard it this summer at an open-air party in Budapest, Hungary. At a place where they mostly plan pop tunes and funky...

It's been dead for atleast a year for me..

Apparently none of you can recognize the death knell of a song...

It's when you hear it at a wedding reception. Till someone reports back with that ATRC lives on + on + on

at arsenal they play william orbit - adagio for strings as the background music whilst doing their history montage.

and the speakers there are absolute shit! sounds sooo terrible

Seems like yesterday when I heard Oakie play this track at the WMC 2003...
good memories..x

For once I totally agree with you, except... Use Your Illusion (both of them) would never have cemented G 'N R as one of the greatest bands ever- the entire world is in agreement that it has nothing on Appetite For Destruction.

The track was born dead.

ATRC or Zombie Nation ??

i think they played zombie nation at Seattle Mariner's home games this season. they still play ATRC on C89 - Seattle's high school run station which try's to get local dj's to come in and spin 5 year old tunes (which they do).

incredible

Has it even be RELEASED for a year?

Confused

Truly, I dunno what you find so worse about ATRC... It is just a song...it isn't the end of the world. It isn't a big tragedy is someone plays it during soccer warmup.... It's just a song played during a soccer warmup... They could also choose Tiesto's latest antics... Or witty strings from Armin... Or one from good ol' PvD...

lol @ c89.5, least they give those kids an early start in radio, i wish i had gone their.

Yea, they been playing Zombie Nation at the Mariners for 3 years now, its been quite funny. They never play the little vocal snippet though, I think that would turn people off.

Its better than "Who let the dogs out!?" which the Huskies used for a while at their games...

They play Ready, Steady, Go, as well.

It's funny, because when I go with my relatives, if they play Zombie Nation, my uncle will look at me and go "Here's your kind of music!", and actually mean it.

I think it'd be sweet if my grandma liked it. Actually, mine likes a bit of it when she's over and hears it in the background.

There was a topic in COR a while back about someone's grandpa listening to DI and TAW often.

Neither do we, with this tempo maybe once by 2020.
I still like the song and I don't see anything wrong if other people find it good too, wether they're into trance or not.

I just get annoyed when people not interested in the scene latch onto a tune like ATRC etc and then whore it to death ie commercial radio stations
