not sure if this is true or not but i've heard that Dumonde are gonna be @ the Docks Oct30 anybody know if this is true?? docks website doesn't have anyting. I hope its true i'd kill to see them again.....they are gods

Dumonde = 2 DJs JamX & DeLeon. They play back to back and let me tell you it's quite the show.

Can you please ensure in that case that you never come to the docks no matter how good the DJ is , then we can all enjoy a DJ instead of listening to partisan rhetoric about the venue when its supposed to be about the music

why does everyone narc on the docks...its a nice venue and they have a good sound system (when they tune it properly) i've had good times when i've been there and i don't understand what everyone beef about it is...if its becasue they have a top 40 room, you guys need to get a life...because the main room is always kickin (i haven't been there since mid august though, so i can't speak for it since then.

I think everyone gives the facility a big A+, but the overall vibe of watching a trance DJ in an amusement park with a bunch of bridge and tunnel trash drops the overall score down to a C-

the docks is a good venue 'cause its so big and roomy unlike the cramped guv. the sound sysytem is good...not great but it gets the job done. Tix prices are resonable or usually free if u get there b4 9 and have "dinner" its a free show. Only shitty thing is the deejay booth thats up top, hopefully they'll set up the stage for Dumonde since its 2 of them

yeh, i hate the djbooth location...its like you're looking sideways to the dj...its so retarded...i hated that aspect when seeing johan gielen there...but when they set someone up on the stage, it is really good...and i'm sure they'll start doing that more often now...they did it for crystal method last time i was there. i'm sure danny tenaglia will get the same treatment...and i've hope the same for dumonde and tiesto!!!...docks is really grabbing a lot of good talent lately...hopefully they'll keep inproving the place and gain some more respect as a reputable venue.

The Setup for Chrystal Method was done on the stage specifically due to the equipment required

The main Dj booth is where Danny will be playing from as he not only requested as much , but also had a hand in its design and location

Most Dj's do not actually like playing from a stage in what they often call "a goldfish bowl enviroment".
There are excepions such as Tiesto who enjoy it , but for the most part the Docks DJ booth was built to accomodate the requirements of top touring dj's and given the choice 95 % have requested the booth
If I know how to add pictures I could show you the interior shots of the booth but if someone wants to host them ii can emailthem and you can post them,
