i went i have the whole thing on mp3 so im going to listen to it again for another impression. as far as the event goes i give it a 6/10 i dont think it was as hot as PVD at SS03 or SS04 was, he just wasnt spnning crazy stuff almost all of it was melody. I personally listen to progressive so its not the lack of big bass it was the lack of energy he had major downtimes when almost no one was moving. well whatever songs of interest:
Song with the flute that came on around 8:25 or so (need an ID)
Love Comes Again (sounds alot better live then on CD)
Traffic (of course the show stopper)
Adagio for Strings (dope!)

pathetic lighting....

yes lighting was shitty and no lasers because thats not his trademark, only pvd does the laser thing lol no one saw that laser machine at AVB, he doesnt use them.
Tiesto and AVB use their overly flamboyant dancing to get the crowds attention.
PVD brings out hard bass, lasers, and just plays the tracks and barely makes eye contact with the crowd only once or twice to smile lol.

not the best tiesto set in my opinion. this is the first time that tiesto disapoints me, its rare because in july in berlin and ibiza it was pretty god but this time i didnt like it all, of course had some good times but not that many.
the sound wasnt that loud or that good maybe bc they cant put it too high because of rules of the city anyway maybe that had sometime to do with the lack of energy overall... i had a good time but musik wasnt at his peak...
i apologize for my english
Nice Pics Dan!!! Whos got more????
tracklist anyone??
It was fun, not amazing by any stretch of the word.
Light was BAD, just awful. If he was going to copy PVD he could have at least done it correctly
Lots of mainstream tracks I IDed about 15 of them, but I'm too lazy to take them off my phone now. Maybe I'll post them and my pics later.
Didn't see any TA's except for David (can't remember his handle)
no Vic's for me. Sleep = very necessary... X-(
The set was fucking amazing in my opinion.... As others mentioned.... no lazers, not too loud, etc... which I actually prefered (sound wise). I didn't recognize about half of the stuff he played (because I haven't seen him in a few months) but recognized the other half. Which remix of Just Be did he play? That was well wicked. It was nice to see him interact so much with the crowd at the end... he gave out about 25+ posters and a good 5-10 signed vinyls... people were ripping them out of eachother's hands into pieces...fucking animals. Lol.
GREAT SHOW! Sorry to all of those who missed it.
Tracklisitng anyone?

He really got everyone going at the end with adagio for strings...

GRETA NITE
great nite...
no lasers .... o well.. nice Dual screens on stage tho
but great set and good mixing and build up in my opinion.
My favorite/higlight track was the Radio head - street spirit track
-> i got OWNED by this TRACK. Also got surprised wehn he threw in Portishead - roads... Also that Just Be Mix was Awesome. There were also a bunch of Techy trance tracks which were AWESOme that he threw in but i had no Idea what they were. I did record them with my camera so hopefully they can be ID'd.
I thought it was funny when tiesto was throwing vinyl into the crowd and people just jumped on top of each other and the vinyl went into pieces... i thought i saw a fight break out too. I also saw a girl who was sitting on someones shoulder fall backwards when tiesto was giving out posters because a swarm of people rushed to the front to grab some.... that was crazy.
I have a bunch of pics but i have better videos of some nice tracks but i dont know of a site that hosts videos... if anyone know let me know so i can post them here...
all in all great night worth the 35 beans
PVD @ Cp comparable to Tiesto @ Cp yes but not sure who was better and stuff... hard to think now im tired but anyone have comments on that??
this is actually me in this pic

lol, me again, behind the pole in the navy blue shirt leaning back
I have seen myself in 3 pics so far, lol
I walked 27 block from the train station to see this and it wasn't a disappointment. Not also counting the 1hr train ride from CT. When Tiesto started the sounds was to low. So I asked the sound engineer and he said there was complaints about the noise so they would build up sounds gradually. Otherwise it was a really fun time. Not as good as PVD@CP 2004. Wish I had the luck of seeing a few TA's tonight but nope. Got pics on the way if peeps are interested. Tommorow calls must sleepy time

i disliked tiesto's set, he didn't wreck at all (he had a small gallop once towards the end but that's all) what fucked it up for me was how he would put on some hard track that made the place go nuts and then play some fluffy crap (borrowed that from joey) Vlad started playing solitare at one point lol
And the funniest thing that i saw was this :
I have some vids and more pics but good god am i tired, i'll post all the goodies tonight.
Can't go without mentioning everyone i ran into tonight
Vlad, Amy, Joanna, Kasper, Sean, Bobby, Garret & Serge (D00bie smoking alliance) John, Alisa, Alyssa, Mike and DAVE! if i forgot someone forgive me... i'm fuckin tired.
One last thing Colibri, dood next time you decide to take more than you can handle don't feel the need to start harassing anyone.
i know he played "interstate - i found u" in the beginning.... it was either the 1st or 2nd song he played because i got there around 6:08 and it was playing.
