I wish I could do jury duty. It'd be a great learning experience.

I have no respect for people who don't vote and don't do jury duty. They should be stripped of their citizenship.

I assume that I will never be picked for a jury in my life because my views on punishment and crime are too opinionated.

yeah it is pretty hard to get out of it. if you are a student they want to see proof from your school. They dont care if you work and stuff. when i went, i saw so many people trying to get out of it and it was pretty hard to get out of. If you do have something you can postpone it, but you will still have to go. the best thing to do is to have really radical views, etc. i got out of it b/c something happened with the case i was on and it was plea bargained or something like that, so no jury was needed.

I'm with Shadowolf, I would love to do Jury duty. An oppertunity to see the other side of the law, and use your civil duties.
