just get a mp3/cd player some speakers and an amp and maybe new paint job? dont know if the paint job now sux or not, also maybe get some new tires? depends on how long u plan on keeping it.
DarkAngel, I agree with not modifying your car's performance... you'll never catch my STI, and it's only a Corolla, so engine mods may not go that far. As long as you don't have to stop or slow down, you can speed just as easily in a slow car as in a fast car... so you need to focus on comfort and MUZIK!!!!!! Get some good tint on it, get yourself a Speedpass if you don't have one, and check out an XM radio. As far as sound, I recommend getting a custom box (Sub-Floors own, but no spare-tire), and have someone professionally wire it for you. If you want to really pimp it, Get som JL W7's for the bass, MB Quartz mid's and high's, and amps with plenty of RMS. I have Infiniti's, and Boston's are good too. Don't get a Sony deck. After that, just tune in with some EDM, and your ears will be in bliss... nobody listens to techno!

i like aiwa receivers but no one really talks about them much! i dont know why...
i got an old sherwood 340w 4-channel amp, 2 pioneer 10 inch 500w in a box and aiwa cdc-x504mp which is loud enough

| Originally posted by DarkAngel LOL! Dave, how the hell do you expect a FF (Front Wheel Drive) car (My car) to catch a 4WD (4 Wheel drive) (your car)?? I'm sure your STI has Turbo, second your car must have AT LEAST 200HP. About the pain job, it's burgundy. So far, the saving for something better option looks better, but I do want to keep this car, even if I get another one, unless something else changes my mind. I have my heart set on a 3.5RL (no need to hook THAT up) or something else, 4 door but sporty, maybe a WRX or something simliar in that respect. A sound system def. is what this car needs, tho. |
) A dyno uses a simple equation to process it. Having useable torque makes for more efficeny as far as fuel consumption and no need to rev your motor to the moon to make power.
Yea, It's slow...
