I really liked the luxuries in it. Mine was fully loaded: Sport package, really nice leather, heated seats, premium sound, etc... It was a really smooth ride and has decent status, if you're into that. I really liked the moonroof and power windows. Both front windows have auto features. Mine was auto with tiptronics and the sport package entails shifters on the steering wheel. It was cool, but not like a manual. It really wasn't all that fast. At least it didn't really impress me all that much. I test drove a 2.8, which had considerably more torque, but no turbo. When something fails in an A4 parts and labor are ultra expensive. The windows had some issues, but got fixed. It's a good car, but I doubt I would buy one again. Maybe an S4, assuming I had the scrilla. For the value it's pretty good though. I got mine with like 40000 miles on it for 18,600, because a friend of mine is a dealer and brought me to the auto auction.

How old was it when you bought it? $18,6 seems fairly pricey for 40k miles.

aston martin... i've only seen one on the road before. there are no words to describe that car.

I bought it when it was around 3 years old. Tires were shot, so that cost me another 500 for Yoko's, but, otherwise, it was in good shape.

Yea, driving back from lunch today on the Tollway I saw a Lamborghini Diablo (yellow), Lamborghini Murcielago (blue) and 23890023902 porsches. Wish I had that kind of cash....

I need to dig up the pictures I took when I went to this Ferrari race. They had 4 f-50s there, a few f-40s and a buttload of testerosas. They also had one of the f-1s. I will see if I can get those pics scanned.

I see them (Lambo) all the time right at the Tollway and 35; the dealership is about 1 mile north on 35 and I think that area is their test drive route. Regardless of how many times I see them, they amaze me every time.

The car that will make me turd in my pants when I finally see it on the road:

Ford GT

I honestly think that, if given the opportunity, I would take that car over any other production car hands down. Never thought I'd be saying something like that about a Ford.

personally that 3 ser looks better than the spy shots I saw earlier, and they werent artist rendered...hmm

BWM for girls? BMW could be overpriced or too douchy but they did make the first series m3 and the soon to be replaced m5. those cars would terrify most girls.

As far as cars go, Im more of the Porsche GT3 type person, more car than 95% of the world can handle, without all the mass of a turbo. I enjoy luxury but in some ways luxury and performance are oxymorons. The most fun car I have ever driven was my dads ghetto Triumpt gt6 that he built and modded by putting 10x13s on (dia/width), stripped and inserted a smallblock Buick v8 in (the Rover V8 rover purchased from GM).

Yeah its like that, but he chopped the roof off and basically the only standard parts are the outer body and the front A arms. Wish I had a pic, or better yet a video of my dad getting a disqualification for exceeding the noise levels...heh|

My sister in law works at a private hospital where the surgeons actually own the hospital - they are some rich guys!!! Two of them RACE Porshce Carreras in th national series, the carpark at the hospital has about three or four 911s in it, and one or two mercs and beemers.......

I think the IS looks good. It's about time it gets a redesign.
