I would have to go back to my Dreamhouse Collection to answer this and Age of love - The age of love......was the most listened to

BT - Flaming June would be there as well along with Extasia - Alegrya (Virtual Mix)

I would call these Mellow tracks more than Symphonic though.....

Arrow

Chicane - Empires
Safri Duo - Rise
Safri Duo - Everything
Safri Duo - Adagio
Aquagen - Strings Of Harmony
Hybrid - Finished Symphony
DJ Tiesto - Forever Today
Tiesto - Euphoria

Safri Duo - Rise ... is the instrumental version ... you can find on the 3.0 album. This is the best of symphonic trance for me.

Been a while since I've posted here, but I was browsing and saw this topic and couldn't resist...(and yes, I know most of this doesn't qualify as trance. But it's still awesome).

Pretty much anything by Hybrid is great; there's so much of it! Some really good ones (asside from the obvious tracks off of their own artist albums) are:

Harry Gregson-Williams - Evacuating London (Hybrid's Hiding In The Wardrobe Mix)
Harry Gregson-Williams - Man On Fire (Hybrid remix)
BT - Never Gonna Come Back Down (Hybrid's Breaktek mix)
Alanis Morissette - So Pure (Hybrid mix)
Sarah McLachlan - Fear (Hybrids Super Collider Mix)

as well as the afore-mentioned
Jeff Wayne - The Eve of the War (Hybrid's Fire in the Sky Mix)

As far as other artists go:

V-Sag - Plausibility (7pm Breaks mix, and also 1am 4x4 remix)
Andy Moor vs Mic Burns - Control Me
U.N.K.L.E. - Reign (ft. Ian Brown)
Ian Brown - F.E.A.R. (U.N.K.L.E. mix)
DJ Shadow - Stem/Long Stem
Lamb - What Sound (Tome Middleton Deep Step Mix)
Lucky Pierre - Angels On Your Body
Overseer - Meteorology
Sarah McLachlan - Sweet Surrender (DJ Tiesto Mix)
(possibly the only actual trance song on this list)

I think a lot of these tracks don't have any symphonic elements.

My definition of syphonic trance, is trance with symphonic instruments, like violins, etc.

Totally agree with your definition. Without such instruments trance may sound epic, atmospheric, uplifting or something else, but the absence of symphonic instruments will never make it sound symphonic.
