Armin struggled threw 2, 5 hour sets in nyc last year. Like really had a hard time. The crowd was into if for the first 2 hours, then people started leaving. The club empied out quickly both times. maby hes better at 9 hour sets.

Now that's a generalization that I think is patently false. What is it about trance that it can't be spun for 9 hours straight? Nothing.

he did a 13 hour set 2 years ago. it was 100% trance and it was great.

Well I saw Armin's 9hr set at the closing of Code last year, the 9 hr set in March at GK, 6 hrs at Dance Valley and 8 hrs at Turnmills and the only one that slightly disappointed me was the latter and that was more to do with the club/atmosphere then Armin himself!! Armin is absolutely at his best during long sets, gives him a chance to build the set properly. The last two times Ive seen him at GK (July & Sept) his sets were way too short!!! 9 hours will be mint if it actually goes ahead!!!!

pvd has done 6hr sets before
