All that taurine rushing through his system must have really fucked him up...

Maybe it's like alcohol... you get used to it and then you can handle more... a person who doesn't drink much might only be able to handle 1-2 drinks, but a seasoned alcoholic can take 10-20 in one night in some cases.

I can only assume you're not asking me as I thought "training my friend. training" was pretty clear.

In general - the more one is exposed to stimuli (of any type) the less effect that stimuli has.

I thought you were talking about alcohol... not red bull.

But that's only for stimuli... not necessarily for the biological effects of a chemical in the body. I mean... sure, there's receptor fatigue, but drugs don't always affect your body in a way that is conducive to that kind of "training". Many drugs are so potent that a dose big enough will kill you long before it tires out your receptors.

Does your argument not imply that having too much sex makes sex less fun?

its funny that the western world thinks ginseng is the magic herb for everything... and they pay through the nose for something that is as common as salt in a chinese home, =P... they even have that crazy clean and clear face wash with ginseng, which is supposed to wake you up in the morning.. HAH... suckers...

honestly, the best it can do is cure a canker sore... that's what my mom gives it to me for, =P...

It's me your new BEST FRIEND Man some of these responses are halarious. One thing that I know when I party, even when my buzz is wearing off and I think I can't dance any longer, the DJ does something that make me have a rush of energy and I start to to go all crazy on the dance floor again. Sure lots of rest before partying is always a good idea, and a couple of the red bulls I think is a good idea to try out. I remember drinking a couple of them mixed with vodka and was I full of energy that night. Remember not to drink too much cause it can make yout stomach feel messed. But in the end I agree it's all about the music! Something else that helps keep me going is being around people that are great dancers and are just crazy on the dance floor. They keep me motivated to just keep on movin'

5 is my avg of red bull and vodka for me

But i do in a steady pace of 2 hrs

Personally I love Red Bull and Vodka, but if I'm drinking them my limit is 3.. anymore than that and my tummy doesn't feel right...

Has to be mandarin vodka though.. mmm mmm good

I've drank 4 + redbulls a few times and my heart was racing, and I was sick to my stomach. Won't do that again. Damn Flordia trip - 2 for 1.. OOUCH

Effedrine works wonders too, maybe 2 or 3 over the span of a night and I just found a HUGE bottle in my closet.. YaY thought I lost those suckers

I find my natural energy/high is quite strong at the beginning of the night, so usually I don't need anything till 2-3am or later. Example Danny T @ Boa... WoW that was awesome! I didn't have anything till 4am and then I endulged.

Ephedrine has (technically) been made illegal for human use in Canada. Don't get caught with that stuff if it is called ephedrine on the bottle or anything. Sure it's sold under other names as our laws about those kind of things are kinda stupid, but ya know.

Ya there's some weird loops to ephedrine. I was under the impression that a regulated dosage and number of pills per bottle was legal, but I hear that's changed too. But ya my bottle does say EPHEDRINE on the lable. I talked to a good friend of mine, who is an officer and this person says they can only take it away from you however they cannot charge you for it.

What happened with ephedrine was that the government "politely asked" the stores to take them off their shelves. It was never criminalized though, so there's no penalty for getting caught with it. You can still find it in just about EVERY health food store. It's only illegal to sell if the bottle recommends very high dosages; there were also products that combined ephedrine and caffeine and those are now illegal, but you can just as easily get 'em separately and it's quite legal.

So no worries. Just don't take too much.

Ginseng is a placebo, there's no scientific proof that it actually does antyhing! <-- learned that in psych class

The reason they took em off the shelves was because people were taking them as diet medicine and like the idiots they are, assumed "more is better" and took too much, making themselves sick. I think some people had heart attacks or something, but I might be wrong.

You're partially correct - people were taking them as diet medicine and as energy pills for workouts, and I think high doses can cause respiratory problems. More importantly though, people were mixing them with caffeine in high doses and that was causing heart attacks.

If you stick to the recommend dosage of ephedrine + caffeine you'll be fine, but the government got a little worried (and rightly so, in this case) because nobody ever obeys the recommended dosage on OTC products.

where do you buy this red bull?

peeked into a convinience store yesterday and it wasn't there

oh and how does red bull compare to all these other energy drinks, such as SoBe?

5-6 shots of Tequila, in span of 45 mins, with Red Bull along side, no more than 5-6 cans per night and you'll be dancing your ass off!!!

1000mg Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
1000mg DLPA
120mg Ginko
400mg Rhodiola Rhosa

This a new stack that's supposed to blow Ephedrine+Caffiene out of the water concerning energy and fat loss.
