Last night was unbelievable, my only problem was the large amount of shirtless gino's that got mad at me everytime I accidently bumped into them, other than that it was a solid night. Met a lot of people and had an wicked time. Can't wait for next time. Peace |
I stood (Danced actually) by the back speakers no problems back there. Could see Tiesto and had plenty'o'room to dance. I will not do it again though, today I'm yelling at everyone and all I want is for that fucking "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" .. sound to go away. I've never had it this bad before! Stellar night I'd say. Didn't meet any TA's, I don't know anyone's face! I saw ONE TA shirt from a distance and then lost him. I was walking around the meeting area around 12:50-1:00 but I didn't know anyone so ....
Had a fantastic time last night. I'd have to say I enjoyed myself more last night than Wintergalactic (too many Rev's?), but I think Tiesto was more into it @ Wintergalactic. He didn't seem that into it last night, to many girls screaming at him from behind distracting him I'd say. He train wrecked right near the beginning of his set too.
Not that I care, didn't change the night for me. Overall, a fantastic night, looking at the track list, I don't remember some of those tracks. To drunk? To close to the speaker? In a daze? Who knows. Recover for Wednesday!
holy shit!
Tiesto is a mad man!
He played Pulsar - Cloudwalking (ferry c. mix).....
My favourite track of all time live
NUFF SAID
Glad to hook up with Swamper, Viceroy, Trancearmada, Arcticboy and all the others that I forgot...
Simply Amazing!
mirror to ravah's pics/movies
i created a mirror of Ravah's pics of Tiesto at Kool Haus, Oct 6th because his server was overloaded.
my server is also based on @home connection so dont expect too much.
ftp://guest:[email protected]/TiestoOct6KoolHaus/
all credit for pics goes to ravah, the movies were recoreded by someone else, dont know who.
that was one hell of an epic party...
p.s. this is my first post on this board
v0ya,
The movies are from my digital elph. They're all 30 second clips. Use Quicktime 5 to watch them. The elph does some funky compression on them. The audio is recorded from a little tiny mono microphone not designed to handle that level of audio so you'll have to bear with it.
I'll see if I can clean em up a bit in Premier or Cleaner.

CANADIAN CUSTOMS FUCKIN SUCKS!!!! grrrrr.. got to the peace bridge at 830, got turned back, then finally got across the Lewiston bridge at 11.. what a pain in the ass customs can be.... blah, i hate them!!!!
Anyways, I was pissed and got to Toronto in 45 minutes from the border - pretty crazy huh?
Then some guy tries to sell us tickets for $60 each, its pathetic that people actually pay that much when theres still tickets at the door.. line moved quickly..
Matt Coleridge spun a superb warmup set, that was the first time I've ever really gotten the chance to hear him spin and can't wait to hear a prime time slot from the guy.. as soon as Tiesto appeared on stage the chanting started, "Tiesto, Tiesto, Tiesto"
It was funny the couple of times he fucked up / or the needle skipped - everyone seemed to notice but just laughed and didn't really care.. the Flight 643 / Hide U track/remix whatever it is fuckin rocks!!! i loved it! Then at 157am we ran to the bar for last drinks and the girl was nice enough NOT to open the cans! woohoo! stuffed in a backpack and we had alcohol for the rest of the night stock piled.. lol..
was a great time, i just wish the border hadn't been a pain in the ass and we could've gotten there before 12:30.. oh well... now to try and decide to goto PVD or not....
That was dope. The Kool haus/guv is a dope club. Redeye And RichieRich where dope, tiesto was dope, shmackers was dope. Swamper was dope too. So was every other Ta, like total representation, i just can't think of anything, cause so many things to say. My fuckin ears are still fuckin ringing, nice..hehe.
AVB HERE I COME!
ps: was anyone there, when that chick was making out with those other chicks and going crazy. I was standing right in front of her, i was like...nice.
Man, what a party...
Great crowd overall. Sure, the typical testosterone, but to a manageable level.
Tiesto was great. Admittedly, a little weak at times in the first hour, but then picked it up and took it to a point where he almost gave me a heart attack I was dancing so hard! EvMac, I'm glad you liked Pulsar - Cloudwalking, my favourite tune of the night.
I actually enjoyed Addy's set as well and was sorry to have to leave at 6:00 (had to work at noon).
Great to see Trancearmada, EvMac, Swamper, and TranceXtasy again. Also a pleasure to meet RuffRyda, tuss (I lost you man!), Paul (alias?), Will, Red-Eye, Larsen, nrg2infinit, and SkyBreak (thanks for the company on the ride back!). My apologies to anyone I met whom I haven't mentioned.
Oh, also awesome to see Boy Trance, arguably the happiest man in the world last night!!!
You guys all rock (uh....or trance). Can't wait for the next party.

K I L L E R !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TIESTO Delivered in every form, shape and sound.
The crowd was almost from like 5 years ago.
He was into it, and the guy next to me caught his Sony VDJ-700 headphones at a not too modest $230 value.
THE LEGEND CONTINUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAN... I'VE NEVER HEARD A SET SOOOO ENERGETIC AND UPLIFTING AT THE SAME TIME... I HAVE TO SAY THAT TIESTO IS A GENIUS!...
The man played to the crowd like he knew what they wanted.. never let down one bit!.... What a show stoper... killer track after track..
Aside form being blown away by his set....I met a LOT of TA's..
Respect for the Crew from Ohio.. Swamper ( always good to see u ), RuffRyder ( nice shirt ! ), Ravah ( I WANT THE VCD! ), this one TA girl wearin a TA shirt i kept seeing but never found out her name ( u danced circles around me! ) and to all the others I met sorry I forgot....
THe crowd was amazing... thanks to ALL the TA's out there who came and showed their colours~!!!.. [ All future parties should be like this one ]
In closing... i had tears in my eye when TIesto played magic journey...
ANd to the guy who grabbed the Pair of Tiesto's headphones.......
" I know where u live !"..

HOLY SHIT!!
What a night! This has got to be the most intense night of my life. Tiesto was absolutely phenomenal, taking me on a beautifull trancendental journey. Never have I seen a DJ so in tune with his audience, shaping all of our movements with his blissfull style and energy. I never seen a crowd so unified and so ecstatic. We were all religiously moving to the beat of our God. I am absolutely speechless, words just don't do justice in describing last night. I don't think that I will ever forget the moment of insanity when Souvenir De Chine came on.
Even friends of mine that are not really into this music, became in love with it after last night. Tiesto really possesses a type of a magical gift, that very few DJs can come close to replicating. I was afraid that last night would not live up to its expectations, because I build it up to such a mythical status. To my surprise, it surpassed it!
I didn't meet too many TA because of the massive crowds, but it was cool to see articboy, trancearmada, xtc totalle, boy trance, and kevinexcite. The night was just so exhilarating, that I was absolutely exhausted after Tiesto. What a trip!
One thing that I took home with me after last night, is that Tiesto is not mearly just a DJ, but a modern day GOD!

What a show, so much energy, so much hype. Tiesto is da man. It will take me a long time to recover from this. What a show that The Guv/Koolhaus put on. Keep it up.

| Originally posted by Thor Man, its not the Canadian customs fault, they are all on high alert since the attacks, the US/Mexico border is also seeing huge delays. Can't get mad at the security, those guys are looking out for our safety... |
BEYOND MY MIND........IN MY MEMORY!!!!!!!!
Mr.Tee AWESOME SET!!!! 3 1/2 hours of pure trance that ripped off my mind... From the very beggining to the end non stop he played all my fav's. I am sure that not only mine....I am I right??????????
Insigma - Open your eyes,
Urban Train,
Silence,
Fire and Ice,
Jahn Johnson - Flesh,
Flight 643
PPK - resurection, etc....
The lightshow was really profecionally good. Not too much, just right good.
PEOPLE WERE GOOD, I wanna say thanks to everybody who were there!!!!!!! Tiesto got the trance, we got the energy!
HE ROCKED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Sorry guys, i never had a chance to meet anybody of ya, at the meeting time i was standing 3 meters from the Dj Booth and enjoying the MATT Coleridge spinning. I was afraid to live my spot, cause I knew that closer to 1:30 the place will be so packed so I wount be able to get closer to the stage. So i just stayed there. Well maybe next time.......I had a chance to talk to Ravah though.

my PICTURES mirror once again
im posting my mirror to ravah's pics again because it can take more hits and just in case some of you are still looking for pics/movies but didnt see my previous post
the mirror is:
ftp://guest:[email protected]/TiestoOct6KoolHaus/
Note:
the pics in the root of that directory are smaller and better compressed. the pictures in the "1600x1200uncompressed" directory are the same pics but the original 800-900k ones. i feel like mentioning this because i see people downloading both the smaller ones and the larger ones for no reason. (conserve bandwidth)
once again all credit for pics/movies goes to ravah.
mirror will continue to be updated as i come across more pics/movies from the party.
Yeah I remember that first Wintergalactic Party!
I remember Tiesto on the stage and people with Gouryella records dancing with them and having Tiesto sign them as he was mixing...
That night was bliss but I liked Sat night better. I think that the space of the Kool Haus is way better than The Docks for a party like this. Much more organized and more room for people to get a good look. At the docks since the room is long and the ceiling is short it's kinda hard to get a good look from far.
None the less amazing nights...
No one has mentioned when Tiesto was in the main room at The Guvernment last summer (Wednesday, July 13th, 2000). I remember the guy with the percussion set and the bongo drums (or whatever kinda drums) drumming away to the trance...oh now that was hype...it fit so nicely. Not only that but the laser show that Guv puts on is always top notch.
That was by far the best party i have ever been to and I dont care about any other parties that took place in the past cause that is a time i cannot visit, but i felt like i was flying into the future when i heard resurection by PPK (hahaha).
I wish everyone i know will be priviledge to experience something so amazing that it restores and creats such immense hope and happiness for this fucked up world we live in.
Im happy to know that there are people like the TA's that understand and feel that energy and project it outwards. Also the TO crowd rocked because my friend pointed out something to me that really stood out, the diversity of the crowd. It was amazing to see so many different people from different backgrounds celebrating happiness with out giving off shitty attitudes and energy. im sure there were a few assholes in the crowd, but i was lucky enough to be in another dimension filled with pretty colours, pretty girls, and fucking unreal trance music.
