I think America should stop the terror she's doing (or has been doing in the world) . When the towers collapsed and thousands of people died , the whole world was mobilised with America , supporting her and offering her some help .
But what about the hundred thousands of Irakian kids who died because of the American embargo ? Why the hell is America restricting Irak from getting food and medecines ? U want to punish Saddam ? Then punish Saddam , but don't punish the KIDS (i'm talking about the kids only , what about the adults ???) Isn't that sick to leave kids dying without food nor medecine ??? where the hell are the other countries ??? why can't they say a word about that ??? but when it comes to America everybody mobilizes himself (i'm not saying they shouldn't , but they should also help the others)
Today America bombed Afghanistan , did u see Bin Laden's reaction ? he said that even if he dies they will always be someone else to keep on fighting against America and as long as he is alive he will keep on doing terrorists attacks too ... do u think bombing is the best way to solve the problem ? i don't think so ... Anyways that was just my two cents .

yeah...i mostly agree with the ppl. here...its totally true that america's foreign policy needs...what shall we say..sum 'tweaking'...hehehh...but think about it this way...would america still have kept the sanctions on iraq in place had saddam hussein given up power, not killed so many members of the other muslim sect residing in his country, and pledged not to develop chemical/bio weapons? he knows his country is no match against america, yet he would not allow the UN weapons inspectors to perform their jobs effectively...
in any case, the bottom line is that the human race is pretty fucked up. ultimately its just human beings killing human beings...what is a "nation" anyway? a group of ppl. living together within mutually accepted borders, hopefully governed by a government of their choice...lets say we have an ordinary citizen of country X with a family of 4 suffering due to the trade embargo against his country...flash forward sum 5 yrs, and lets say he's moved to the US and now he has a nice job and his family is safe...and then america goes to war against sum country, XYZ...even that citizen of country X who 5 yrs. ago probably denounced the US because of its anti-country- X stance will now support its sanctions against country XYZ...sum fraction of his taxes will probably go towards augmenting america's defenses...maybe to build more bombs to drop on other countries, maybe even country X itself..
so human beings in general are just...fucked up...money is all that matters...and all of us, whether or not we know it, are in sum way responsible for what happens...

U guys who say bombing them is wrong.... that dont live in American shouldnt be talking..... u can have this smart coments about how u think..but u dont know shit unless it happened to your country........ its pretty to say that fighting back will not help things out and or anything...well the fact is if we left this shit stand it will happen again...for instance ... as a boy getting picked on everyday at school and ignoring it will still get picked on....or the person that is always nice to everyone will get walked all over on.....well this is what US is under ....we wont get walked over on by these Terrorists and by these countries who harbor them.... i dont give a shit what they say ....... i believe we been to fucking pussy before and we should of done something a lot earlier........ and people say innocent people will get killed cuz of what is going to happen..well dont blame the US ..blame there country.....they put them into a situation like this...not us..... and everyone saying how arrogant the us and thinks we are the best...well im not saying we do but we have way more responsoblity then any other country out there....... if it wasnt for the us many countries wouldnt be as secure as they are now...even many of european countries who think that its just themselfs support them..... US produces 75% of the worlds food...we feed the world with what we do.... the US is a country that if it wasnt in power.....the world would be very different..more people would starve and more people would die from the fact..... there is no country that could feed china as we do even though our relations arnt as strong with them...if it wasnt for us so many people would starve in the country..... we gave 300 million dollars to afganistanian refugees who fucking hate us ..and are taliban....and we have no obligation to feed them cuz we havent done shit to there country when we feed them weeks ago.... I personaly would of told them fuck them i wouldnt give them money ..but we still do even though many are taliban supporters and bin ladin supporters....what other fucking country would do that shit...... yeah, and without question, this bombing is the right thing to do. the strikes weren't only in retaliation for the wtc disaster, it was simply the straw that broke the camel's back; there were other events in the past that were more or less ignored, such as the wtc bombing in 1993, the bombing of the uss cole and the bombing of u.s. embassies outside of the united states, all of which were linked to osama bitch laden and his terrorist group 'el quesadilla' or whatever. the u.s. HAS been too pussy in its reaction to terrorist activity in recent years, and it's about time that some serious military action was taken.

No comment about tranceclubers post, just one remark. I can understand that the USA has something to do against them, as even our country will do st when it happened here. But take for example Sweden, they have done shit to make these terrorists angry, the US has. And its also clear, that most americans are with george bush, but...yeah forget about it.

miss proximus, sadly you are correct..and i dont want trancecluber to say shit about you dont know how it is if youre not an american because you wrote somewhere out in las vegas fukin 3000 miles away from new york city meanwhile i live IN new york city, not around it and not in a neighboring state...i feel bad for americans, yes i feel bad for their amazingly high levels of ignorance..im not even in the mood to respond to trancecluber maybe later ot tomorrow

Hey, if you have not realised yet, a good democracy need people that critics their actions! Otherwise we are in a dreamworld or the leaders could do whatever they want (and thats not what we want i hope).
and about those little kids dancing in the streets? Yeah your country is soooo better, yeah. What about this Clan called Ku-Klux? Is that any better? Hell no! And what about those anti-muslims that destroyed magazines after the attacks? Too many people see only what they want to see...
And if you want, the US has done so much shit (what about slavery? what about taking this land from its real possesors (indians)? of course this is not just america its europe too, its not even comparable to these attacks!

OK as this now seems to be getting Personal, i think its time to close the thread . . .
I can see where Eugene was trying to go with this thread, but personal attacks on individual TA members is not what we need at this time . . .
The World has an Uncertain future right now and those of us that live in a democracy need to fight to keep that democracy.

We have all made mistakes, and are aware of those mistakes and now we are aware we can hope that those mistakes will not be repeated.
But from the ashes of ruin, and with the sudden surgance in the will of the democratic world to stamp out terrorism, lets hope from death, destruction and ruin, that this world will become a better place where we can Unite, look at us on TA.com, we are many nations and music unites us, it's what brought us together and made TA.com the community it is now.
So lets hope that Peace will Unite the world.
I pray it will be a short campaign and loss of innocent life is kept to the barest minimum.
