Ian^ don't be so sure, that You'll win every "easy" game...Don't forget, that England's playin' home game against Poland and it won't be the easiest game in this qualifications for You! (I hope so... ) Peace!

If it's any consolation, I think you have 2nd place pretty much wrapped up, I just feel confident under Sven as we have an immaculate record in qualifying under him

nope currently in morocco , watched them on al jazeera sports channel (yes from the same al jazeera , they also own a sports channel which happens to be the best in football , it's free and even european peeps who don't understand arabic watch it cuz they broadcast almost every game)

It can be worst, you could have watched Lithuania - Spain, and that was a really boring match. But since you are in Morocco, seeing it hadn't meant losing sleep.

I'm pretty sure that's the one that shows the games in the canaries that are ppv in the UK... if so it's good and has english commentary but arabic presenters ?

Word.

Spain's play it's too irregular, and we have players that can do way better than they actually do. I still don't think we have problems qualifying for the WC, but it would be nice seeing some good football.

I remember being at a friends house once to pick him up to go see a Colombia qualifier at a restaurant and all of a sudden he was like no we re gonna see it on the internet.Turns out it was a feed from some Arab station, it buffered a little but it was pretty cool,I think he said the earlier you tune in the better it works. Then the weird thing after the game I guess the station signed off and they put a graphic of the president of the arab country(I think it was Jordan) with the flag in the background and with weird Arab music playing lol.

Venezuela beat Ecuador 3-1 last night so their were some changes in the standings....
Brazil20
Argentina19
Paraguay16
Ecuador13
Chile13
Venezuela13
Uruguay 11
Colombia10
Peru10
Bolivia10

South Korea doesn't have much of talent (then again, being pretty short puts Koreans at disadvantage) but their stamina is tremendous and so is their work ethics. (I still can't forget in WC94 coming back to draw Spain 2-2 after being down 2-0 and almost drawing against Germany being down 3-0 and losing 3-2 when they could have drawn)
Heck, I think South Korea was like only team that played 3-4-3 during WC2002.
Some Korean players are starting to creep into European leagues. (Watching Lee Chun Soo playing for Real Sociedad one game last yr was so funny. He was outclassed skilled wise, but he chased down whoever had ball on his side like a warhound.)

I doubt South Korea will get far in WC 2006. Weak defence with retirement of Hong Myung Bo who anchored South Korean defence through out the dark age of 90s and Choi Jin Cheul is getting old. Oh well.
