| Originally posted by Dan1584 WOW, that tracklist was better than I thought it was going to be. HOWEVER the last ATB mix of this series had iffy mixing and I don't want to hear a bunch of good tracks being ruined by crap mixing. So I think the smart thing to do is to wait until other TAers get this CD and offer their opinions on the technical aspects of this release. ...I'll be waiting. |
anyone heard it yet?
time for a new one. it's looking good..can't wait.
Tracklist to me seemed iffy.
both cd's were actually quite decent...good tracks with energy to them and a real progression and atmosphere to them...however the mixing is very blah and bleh...he's done way better in previous live sets i've heard from him.
6.5/10 overall. but not worth buying. feels like a money-grab than a real artists work. get Involver from Sasha instead.
just listend to both cd's and they are absolutely awful!
no structure and the shittiest mixing i've ever heard!
to mix in my memory (g&d mix) in moonrush - risky business (arc in the sky rmx) is a crime...and the way he does it (in a 1 second mix) shows that this "mix" cd shouldn't be sold - it's a disgrace to the art of dj'ing
When will this be released in the US?
any other opinions on this? tracklisting is appealing for me to buy, but i can't seem to find good feedback...
The album could be the most wonderful thing of the world that I douldn't still forgive him for slicing off the best part of Synaesthesia.
But, knowing that this isn't the most wonderful thing of the world... the tracklist is weirder than Ferry's Infinite Euphoria and the result if worse by miles.

I don't get this...I mean this guy is doing the exact same thing as most amateur djs and we're supposed to get excited? His tracks were catchy at best, not at all memorable. I think its lame how people like this make money slapping together some mix that anyone with a year or more behind the decks could do. And I seriously doubt this was done live, ProTools is the standard for almost all compilations now.
Sorry, but theres nothing special or cool about a top40 trance mix cd any more.
