Very nice. Theres a lot going on in there but the all parts shine through nicely.

very corsten/tiesto 2000 style, perhaps a bit tougher than them.

nice one

Posted by dannyc on Oct-28-2004 15:11:

nice tune as always from you pho, flawless mastering too. enough said.

keep it up

wow. this is good. i am however of the mind whereby however good something is you can always make it better

the open hats at the start are very murkey and the bassline is a bit, i dunno what the word is, plain but only at the start. towards the end when the open hats become clear again its like a different sample? or you have removed some of the effects on it? when everything kicks in this track RIPS. real dance floor stomper. the melody is clean and its right at the front of the mix right where it should be. the kick is prominant all the way through which i have problems with sometimes so gooooood job.

post break down this track really wanders in a very nice way. something about the melody reminds me of addagio for strings for a split second. nice touch. around 3/4 of the way through the melody seems to sink into the swells in the background for a little bit (it gets clearer later) and it loses its clarity for a little bit. the kicks right at the end (although the same sample) sounds real trebly without the bassline going with it. maybe worth layering a subbier kick with that just for the outro to keep it boppy all the way to the end.

overall though its a bit of a stonker. way ahead of my stuff. work on this and go for a signing cuz i could dance like a crack monkey to this. i do likes me hard trance.

Thumbs up

Nothing to add apart from what everyone else has said, so well done on an absolute stormer of a track. Definitely one of the best "amateur" productions I've heard this year. Would love to hear it on a big system.

Good luck.

Thank you so much to EVERYBODY who has listened to my tune, I'm really overwhelmed by the excellent comments
I've got some good feedback from some DJs and I'm definitely going to fix up the things that everybody has commented on.
It's great getting feedback like this, thanks a lot to ionized, alexpea, joeyenv, McManaman, derivative for the constructive criticism, all are very good points and I'm going to look into all of those ideas, and am looking forward to polishing up this track for playing in clubs

it really is a great track pho, you dont make enough in my opinion, it reminds me of the old airbase sound which i still love.

cant see why this would'nt get signed. good luck with it man!

your definetly one of the top few producers here.

keep it up looking forward to your next track

this track is awesome, good work. keep 'em coming

Posted by isoterra on Nov-01-2004 09:32:

Man wow.. this really reminds me of the type of stuff Tiesto was caining in the 2nd half of TIC2... GOOD energetic melodic trance sounds amazing

Only gripes are with the bass being a lil heavy on some notes... & the break could maybe have more power in it

But still this is a badass tune overall.. get it out there! Can see big names playing this

Posted by DjLiMZ. on Nov-01-2004 09:33:

fucking fire it up is awesome id damn right wack this is my set in a club get that track out there!

Posted by TOR on Nov-01-2004 09:55:

good track. nice melody.. synth could have been better though. when all the elements play together it's massive, it's just the build-up to the climax that seems to lack something.

oh and those ride cymbals are annoying

all in all a very good track.

Yes, there are some small details, but overall this tune absolutely amazing. Great.

In my opinion this track really has t be worked out and pressed on vinyl.

What does Mr. Precision think about this tune..?

Posted by dannyc on Nov-01-2004 22:44:

i agree, get this signed pho as soon as possible, i demand you do.

Posted by Erty on Nov-02-2004 14:34:

Wow. Seriously much better than a lot of stuff I've heard on vinyl the last months.
There are some small details that needs to be fixed, but with a little work this is an awesome track. I love the melody. And it really has a lot of energy :]

this is a humming melody man. i listened to it before i went out and i've been trying to recreate since this afternoon. had to get home and hear it again, really diggin it.

Posted by eRRaTiK on Dec-01-2004 21:44:

Satan (eek!)

listening...

agree about the hi-hats clashing

agree about the epic-ness

yes, reminiscent of 99/2000 work. that's the SHIT man. lead the revival!

major club tunage!

i'd like to hear a reworked version based on the feedback so far, and some kickass remixes will surely follow. c'mon you TA producers get onto it ;P

keep up the good work pho.

WOW heaps of freakin energy in this track. I wanted to get off my seat at work jump around & shit!!

Love it m8. Your a pro!! bow to teh master!

0:00 - 1:00 nice rythme. nothing too fancy. builds a bit.

1:10 nice energy coming out now. The hi hats sound funny, could just the sample quality.

2:10 new rythme introduced.

3:00 pretty generic sorta stuff

3:25 the turning point

3:30 SWEEEEET!!

3:50 this is where this song stands out from the rest. It makes sense how you start the song to build up to this pinnicle. Now that i know where the song is taking me I absolutely love it.

5:00 loving it!

5:40 -> nicely winding down

5:40 - 6:50 whats that weird ringing noise? Its part of the rythme & sound great to the right, but to the left it sounds funny.

I am really impressed with this track. It pays off in teh end. Good one pho mo. (Always expect great stuff from this guy! )

Posted by RickyM on Dec-02-2004 22:17:

I really enjoyed this song - the melody is perfect - i love chord changes like you at the end of each melody sequence, like Barber's Adagio/Tenshi had.
Maybe make the main synth a bit more 'full' if you know what I mean - a bit more depth, maybe more chords; it sounds good, but I think it could sound better.
Nice kick (azur??). Can't really think of other any criticism - just a really solid club track.
