same for Saeed & Palash

Too deep??? To each their own I guess... Maybe these would suit better:

Sean Cusick
Trendroid
H-Foundation
Soul Mekanik
Piliavin & Zimbardo
DJ Nukem
Parks & Wilson
Jay Tripwire
Peter Tha Zouk

...Now, I know these guys make that dark tribal sound, although some tracks may still be too "deep". I'll leave it up to you.

Zzzzzzzz

dark tribal house is the best and imo, it can never be too dark.

Besides Nubreed 3, what do you recommend then? Apparentely, I'm hitting in the wrong ballpark. I consider Steve Lawler and Chub & Ceballos in the same category as the producers listed above.

I agree though, some of the artists above are a sleepfest, especially Cusick. That guy is the epitome of boring dance music.

See tenaglia is considered a tribal deejay but his CDs are tribal mixed with everything else. Nubreed 3 was probably when Lawler was more pure tribal. Lights out 1 and 2 are darker progressive mixed with tribal. I'm more of a pure dark tribal fan and it is getting harder to find that these days. Tom Stephan and That Kid Chris do it well but they have not done many sets or CDs for that matter. PQM is always dark and dirty, so are others. I'm more of original Nubreed 3 fan because it was the soundtrack for a point in my life years ago and it was tribal. Now lawler has moved on to tribal but more dark progressive with drum elements that are not completely tribal.

Cusick's music is boring but him as a person is anything but, he is a complete cynic who tends to drink excessively.

Lovesky - Drums for Better Days (both discs Praha and 16C+ remixes) Hooj Choons
These are super bangin and super tribal drum influenced. But if your lookin for must haves... these are them. Praha remix is a bit dark but opens up into these crazy uplifting flutes.

Whats people's thoughts on drums or bongos next to the DJ with this genre of music?

I don't mind it from time to time.

This would be better in its own thread yo, but as long as your bringin it up. I really really dig it. Your right deffinately not all the time but if you can get som dudes that are good at, it brings a totally new depth to the music.
