great tune. Much better than the Push mix imo.

oh geez .. another rework ?

he is really starting to disappoint me with these so called "reworks" .. can't he just produce some track or remix some current song? it seems lately all he is doing are reworks...

Posted by cosmicstar on Oct-24-2004 14:04:

I have only heard the Push remix. Which is very good!

Posted by Subtle on Oct-24-2004 14:08:

this track also known as Gouryella - Ligaya (Paul van Dyk Remix)

That's what I said too until he decided to release his reworks of Energize and Holding Onto Nothing.

I think its more a case of him actually saying, look I really like the track and dont want to change too much about it, but a tiny bit of post production will improve it tenfold... and it does. Its labelled 'edit' for a reason, hes not looking for people to go 'omfg the new pvd remix is sooo good' - its all about the original track.

That doesn't change the fact that he attaches his name to it when he hardly did anything about the original production, which is what this argument was about.

yes but he also attaches the term 'edit'

an edit is an edit

I would blame PvD fans on these forums for getting far too over exited every time he edits a track. Its an edit, thats what its called and thats what it is, nothing more.

I don't ever remember hearing paul call all these tracks edit/reworks, other then the ones released. Its just a name we have given them.

originally it was planned for a release on TPOD, so it would have been official, but for whatever reason he left it out.

well, it is not my fault that lilly sent a press release saying "vandit's next release was the spell (including deutschmann & pvd remixes.)"

i was just relaying the information, insteado of being the 'source'

Posted by Laushinameee on Oct-24-2004 18:38:

how about PvD feat. Jan Johnston - I Feel You or PvD vs Second Sun - Velvet Horn

Posted by arturob on Oct-24-2004 18:41:

o god..... here we go.................... weeeeeee

the emotional rollercoaster

That's okay Arturo, we don't blame you for being a hype monster. Not too much at least.

A little bit of hope and excitement is good for the scene, even if it sometimes fails to materialize.

Spot on. Most reworks you see on his tracklistings are usually original tracks ruined by some gay vocal or poor production so Van Dyk just makes them to how he wants, which as said above is usually a mint track.
