well, i've been looking at hotels for my trip up there for new year's eve, and i was just wondering if the latin quarter is a nice place to stay? specifically, is this close to the bell center, clubs, bars, etc? Thanks for any help!

i did look at the hotel posted on another thread that someone reccomended, but these ones in the latin quarter are a lot cheaper....

heheh i looked at the map and it looks like one of those 1 star hotel where you bring the cheap hookers you just got off the street

the one in the latin quarters doesnt really look that bad at all inside and out. but location is what we are lookin for

location is really good, lots of bars and places on st-denis street.

Bell center is 5-7 minutes away by cab. You could walk it.

we don't mind dives, especially since we'll be too messed up when we crash there to care

plus, it wont look so bad when we DO get cheap hookers and bring them back

That's like what our hotel was. L'Hotel Nouveau I think it was called. Perfect location though. Right across from the Bell Center. Really nice after you've been dancing all night. You could basically crawl back to your hotel room.
