NO, HE ISN'T!!!!

Just kidding. Of course he is, but I think his opinion suckx. Sorry.

I have a bastard of a headache from staying up all night. I feel like I have a hangover, minus the nausea and vomiting, of course.

I was ALSO at home, and SOBER, and watching everything and still thought everything was KICKASS!!!!!!!!!

what can i say -- def a great nite...but the overcrowding really got to me esp on the 2nd floor...-- so many ppl were on the 2nd floor also it was hard to dance newhere, really...i couldnt take it nemore, and at one point i did make it to the main floor with hai lee by the right side of the stage and was chillin and dancing there...(thanks boi for chilling wid me btw) the speakers were RIGHT there...one big plus for Avalon...the sound system KICKS ...so that was the only downside, not being able to dance like usual...

Jump The Next Train, Synaesthesia (2004 Ferry Corsten Remix),
The Force Of Gravity -- YUM!!!

left at 5 -- but glad to see that Ferry closed out the night like he did the last few times...:-D

BEST FERRY SET EVER!!!

Just got up an hour ago This was the best Ferry set I ever heard! If someone recorded it, please post a link Eddie played an awesome opener which made the night truly marathon. Here are some pics:

The crowd at Avalon sucked as usual. Lots of mean and pushy people. It was sardine packed that night with sweaty condensation dripping from the room - augh! Hanging out with all the TA's in the corner was the saving grace.

i guess for once i am goign to be one of the people who's opinion falls into the minority here. i really didnt have a good time last night. i liked the beginning but after a while it felt like ferry was just playing all electro type stuff and i couldnt take it and left sometime around 4:30 or so. i had a headache and was fed up with the crowd (having beer spilled on your head from the balcony above is not fun). sounds like the music got much better after i left. oh well my bad for not staying.

i had much more fun in feb when he was at avalon. glad everyone else had a good time.

was too crowded and hot on the main floor for me to dance....so i just headed over to the second floor next to the booth and hung out there for the rest of the night. Honestly Ferry's euphoric style is great if you are dancing to it on the main floor with the loud ass system, but if you are home or watching from the side, I can see why you would think its boring. Still had a decent time, how much did you people pay to get in?

I came around 2:30, and paid 35 which was way too much, and I would never do that again...

Ferry spun a great set. I'm so glad he spun til' closing because I didn't want to leave I really wanted to hear Walhalla and Gouryella but he didn't bring it so that sucks. I seriously hate Avalon. There were a lot of weirdos and perverts there last night and what's up with those topless old asian dudes dancing like they ain't got no sense? What a strange crowd! Anyway, I had a lot of fun partying with you guys

Did anyone get a recording of the stream? if so i'd love to be able to get it! Awesome night, Ferry is the man!!!

i just woke up i was sooooo trashed last night
anyway i got there around 12:30 i met up with kolumbo and had a few drinks bullshited with some girls
at 1 we pass by the dj booth and i said "wheres ferry already"
and what do you know hes right next to me lol
i got my flyer signed and a pic and chatted with him for a few he loved my shirt which was cool
ferry came on i went in the courtyard and i deff drank too much i threw up and the bouncers at avalon are very nice they told me to sit down and sober up and kept giving me water and just sayin dont worry about it and after about a half hour they said ok you can go now and i was feelin better i get back in there and iam fukin pissed i missed force of gravity but i came into binary finary and after that i was ownedddd trance to techno then back to trance again
i got in the booth for a lil i told him to play albert vorne- a leaden way (m.i.k.e remix) he said "thats a great track iam deff gonna play it" and he droped it thanks alot ferry
the crowd was terrible maddd pushy and alot of head shakeing asians i cant stand that shit
back in feb it was more crowded but it was a more quality crowd
his set was great it was just as good as his last trip to nyc if not better
he already got my vote for number 1 dj this year and as of now hes gonna get it again for next year

Posted by Clovis on Oct-24-2004 22:40:

Sounds like it was a great time even though the crowd sucked. I did notice how crowded it looked on the video feed.

I ripped the whole set from the video @ 192kbps but its 451MB and I dont have anywhere to host it

lol. So if anyone can help, pm me.

P.S. Ian nice job showing Ferry the text msg

I had such an awesome time that night. I thought Ferry was ON POINT. As soon we got there we situated ourselves on the second floor by the booth and stayed there the whole night. I loved the tracks Ferry dropped. Hearing Ligaya was awesome!!!! And Force of Gravity!!! And the end the night with Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams!! AHHHHH.

So great partying with you again Arty!!!!! Hope you had fun playing soccer. And thanks to all the other TA's I partied with. You guys made the night extra fun for me!!
