she's a class act, always taking responsibility.

Posted by itsTrueSonic on Oct-24-2004 12:01:

oops..

she tries to play it off by doing a "ho down",
and the band thinks they're all cool by playing some guitar riffs and everything.

they should have walked off the stage with her. as a matter of fact, if i was one of the band members, i would ALWAYS wear a mask, because i would never want people to know i am a part of her band.

but that was classic.

Posted by mezzir on Oct-24-2004 12:02:

that it straight up hilarious

the band just keeps playing "shit dude she left, we got a gig on saturday night live without that no talent bitch!"

Posted by PatMcGroin on Oct-24-2004 12:18:

just a thought here but...

even if the band played the wrong song, shouldnt she still know the lyrics to her OWN song? oh thats right, its not really her song.

Posted by Mike_B on Oct-24-2004 12:19:

Gold. That's just plain great. her career just went down the tubes hahaha.

Posted by itsTrueSonic on Oct-24-2004 12:23:

you know what i think?

i think she's nothing but a talentless b!tch put together by MTV to make us believe she will compete will Avril Lavigne and the rest of the "female pop rock " genre. no.

she got pieced together like the rest of those pop bands, getting into a business that they know they have no talent in.

who bombed more?
Hoobastank's "two" live tv performances recently singing "The Reason" or this?

Posted by trewqy on Oct-24-2004 12:26:

God this is why i hate mainstream mtv music.

Why do kids always fall for mtv and their frigging dumb pop culture is beyond me.

Posted by goonerjack on Oct-24-2004 12:56:

Worrying thing is... i knew the lyrics better than her

i blame it on the constant radio play!

Posted by stren on Oct-24-2004 13:20:

Chilling

And then blamin it on the band is just pathetic...what a sad ho

thing is they cued up the first song they played again so she couldnt sing it if she already had the first time. It wouldve been even more ridiculous...They needed to stop and start over again, but the band members continued to play the track (but what else could they do but do what they are told to do aka hired guns) and she walked off stage.

EDIT: Bands can play two tracks on SNL so they started with Peices of Me. Then the second time it was supposed to be Autobiography but they cued in Pieces of Me again.
Theres a bit more to it but who the fuck cares..

Posted by djkoolaide on Oct-24-2004 15:02:

Indeed. If there's something worse than a no-good cheap skanky talentless pop-whore, it's a no-good cheap skanky talentless pop-whore who lies.

Get off of the TV you stupid bitch.

I'm with VB... after watching the clip I was dissapointed. Sure her song got fucked up and she looked bad, but she didn't go all nuts or anything. *NO SHOW HERE PEOPLE*!

my thoughts exactly.

Posted by bobba lou on Oct-24-2004 16:48:

only ones with true talent there are the ones holding the instruments. That girl is a useless t00l.What a shame.

Posted by Dmatrox on Oct-24-2004 16:52:

the band played the wrong song too.

and she dances really stupid, wtf is that anyways?

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Oct-24-2004 17:16:

LMAO @ the band - they just kept playing on and smiling - the true sign of professionals.

HER on the other hand, showed her immaturity and mediocre amateur talent by just walking off the stage. There was a mistake, and she just abandoned all hope. Had she actually been a professional, she would have just picked up during the song since she's supposed to know the lyrics anyways. The mark of a true professional is someone who can be flexible during times of emergency - she just abandoned everyone up there and (probably) went back stage to cry her eyes out. Sorry, Ashlee - try again in a few years...if they even let you.

Mm-hmm. But a lot of the MTV viewers and her loyal twelve year-old fans will believe it.
