I was listening to ASOT a couple of weeks ago, to have something to laugh at, you know. So I heard some mix of it... I don't like it. I'll give it another listen though.

you need to hear deep dish on a decent system, or their stuff does not sound great.

Yeah I agree...seems to be that way with Dekay too...their basslines and grooves are difficult to appreciate on a desktop.

heard this track @ dancerecords.com and the vocals are a bit cheesy. I like how the track sounds but something about the vocals just says rip off. Kinda sounds like alot of the Venezia records I have.

It's not shit but its not great.

BTW Flashdance is 100X better than this.

this track would work well in cellphone commercial. 'say hello'

Posted by umes23 on Apr-08-2005 18:58:

this track is beautiful, i loved it the moment i first heard it. i love deep dish and i have a huge amount of respect for them even though i haven't liked all their tracks.... this one is a gem.

this is not trancey at all... its just beautifully melodic. and it has signature deep dish beats all over it. the piano + the vocal + the bass + the deep dish beats = amazing

Posted by Aitizaz on Apr-08-2005 20:59:

im really really looking forward to some mixes...anyone have any word on who might be spinning his magic on an already bueatiful track

haahaha!

Posted by kr00t0n on Apr-08-2005 23:55:

Hmmm.. the vox seem to be on the opposite of the key scale compared to falshdance, hehehe

Dunno if I like em yet, bit high-pitched/whiney

As for flashdance, the original is meh, but the Meatie Katie remix rocks the kasbah!!

Posted by MinuS on Apr-09-2005 12:56:

just listened to "say hello", quite honestly i havent changed my opinion about deep dish, thier producing talent had definitly fallen off over the past few years.

If you want to hear a beautiful piece of music, check out:

Dusted - Always Remember to Respect and Honour your Mother (Deep Dish luvs thier mutha mix)

^Thier all time best IMO
