It's good to see other people agree that there's nowt wrong with an SL-1200/10 as it is. It does what it needs to do perfectly well, and has been doing it for decades. Why complicate them with flashy lights and gimicky toys that will inevitably break and fcuk up?
I'll stick with my Techs thank you very much.

id like to see a water fountain
and a mixer with a built in phone jack so you can take incoming calls from the GF through the headphones so you dont have to stop recording mid mix to talk about how Bush is ahead by however many votes <- happened last night
that QFO thing is definately innovative.. but fugly imo
i like the toilet idea... cracks me up
maybe they could integrate the pioneer cdj1000 + techs into a super duper pionics cdjsl-12101000MK4
no seriously though, they could add a cd tray to tech 1210's or sumthin, so you dont have to buy extra tables (although the whole TT would have to be re-designed and it could look ugly and affect performance)
That QFO deck is very inventive but I wouldn't want one, I see it like seperate systems, you buy an AMP, and its made to do just that, you buy the CD player, its made to do just that, now cram it all into a smaller space and they might not be able to have as high a quality components, plus if something breaks in a seperate system, you send that part back, bit like in your usual DJ setup, the mixer goes, you send just that back, with this QFO though, one things goes, the whole thing goes back, but like tu-face said, bravo to Vestax in pushing things further and trying new crazy shit out.
Like Freak said, I love my Techs and they do exactly what they were made for, but since were talking about adding things in, well I like the sound of a FS type controller built into a deck, as for a Hybrid unit, GUARENTEE we will see them in the new year, the main thing I like and am getting into is MIDI, like someone said before me, you can do so much with MIDI, when I finally get the rest of my gear, I'll be adding tons of things into my sets but still keep them sounding good, kinda like live remixing, Ableton is great like this, my brother now does this all the time, and hes now sponsored by Ableton.
The best thing I have heard that you could add to a deck is a controller for the Torque, I dunno who said it, there on the first page, but this wouldn't be a very complicated device, mainly just a voltage controller for the motor, but you could set it to feel like a Tech, or increase it and have it feel like the TTX depending on preference and what you want to do with it.
