Go Clippers!

Like always I'm with SIXERS!!! But they (like always ) didn't do any huge tranfers, ehm maybe except hiring John O'Brien as a head coach...

But IMO Dallas in West and Detroit in East are lookin' strong, but the season is looong and there's lot of time left to change the predictions...

Woo another Sixers fan! Actually, they picked up Skinner (again!), Corliss Williamson and drafted Iguodala so that should tighten up their weak defense. Unfortunately, they lost Snow to the Cavs and Buckner who was a solid defender.

Their division is extremely weak this year, so I'm hoping they can put their talent to good use and dominate the Atlantic.

Yeah I know that, but IMO those aren't huge transfers, just You know, new players... But I don't know why they've released Snow - he was next to A.I. their best player...Eric, please come back!!!

i saw them play the other day against san antonio, and put up a good fight .. kyle korver seems to be progressing fine .. their front is good .. need some better backcourt scorers imo .. jim o'brien is instilling defense back on this team, which was missing last couple of years..

Huge win for the Heat against the Jazz tonight, Heat won with Wade on a buzzer beater at overtime.

yea and the funny thing was that most of the people had left the stadium lol. That last minute was incredible , Reggie Milleresque, shit even better.

Posted by Hanki on Dec-10-2004 15:07:

Funny thing about T-Mac is, that the teams he's playin' for are at the bottom of the table...Last year it was Orlando, now it's Houston...

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Dec-20-2004 05:31:

How bout them Heat , 8 wins in a row , and a convincing win over the Magic tonight.lets keep it goin vs celtics, kings , and lakers this week.

And what do You think about the big trade New Jerey and Toronto made??? IMO it's a huge mistake of the Raptors, now they don';t have their star and playoff chances IMO...But Nets will be stronger for sure, I just can't wait to see Kidd-Carter duo playin' together!

that was such a horrible trade, Mourning is most likely gonna retire now.nets got carter for free basically.I know theres a couple of angry raptors fans here in TA.Kidd and Carter is very nice, nets are lacking big men though now.

Posted by Omegasox on Dec-20-2004 23:13:

He wanted out and the Raptors didn't want his contract hanging over their head. So I'm not surprised they basically gave him away, took long enough.

Posted by svens_bath on Dec-23-2004 19:41:

according to some pundits over here, kidd has said that carter isnt enough to persuade him to stay, and he is unhappy at the nets, and may well be traded

i hope mourning goes back to the heat. one of my nba favourites, and would be nice to see him hook up with the man of steel for a season.

also i would like to add that i just saw le bron james play for the first time (its reeeal hard to get nba on the tele over here )against minnesota on tuesday and boy, what a fantastico player he really is. they have decent team cleveland

Posted by itsTrueSonic on Dec-23-2004 21:18:

i am surprised that the commish approved this trade. new jersey will definately be scoring some points, but they really lost some beef in losing williams. they will be lacking in rebounds, but who needs beef in the East?? hahahahhaa...

but new jersey is now a clear favorite in the atlantic, as long as carter and kidd play up to their 100% potential. they seem not to try anymore, but that was when they were with horrible teams. now what is going to happen now?? i think this top 3 (kidd, jefferson, carter) is about as the best big 3 in the east since milwaukee's 3 (robinson, allen, cassell). milwaukee came close to the finals, so new jersey should do the same.

and cleveland. that team is doing well, because ilgauskas is back. every basketball guru knows how much potential ilgauskas has, and is capable of puting up 20 points 10 rebounds night in and night out. gooden was an excellent acqusition for the cavs. mcinnis and snow need to play point a little bit better. if this carries through, they definately will win the north division.

and in the end theyll all lose to the Heat
svens Im glad you brought that up about zo coming back here,I think Pat Riley might be able to work somethin out, it wont be easy though.I havnt heard anybody else talk about this other than you.Its a good idea. But Zo's contract is way to big.

Posted by svens_bath on Dec-24-2004 02:41:

well from what i gather alonzo aint gonna be playing for the raptors, they were saying over here that he'l never put on a raptors vest, and will never bounce a basketball in toronto. hes more of a bait buy, to atract other players, and as it may be his last season or 2 hes gonna want to be playing in a playoff contention team, which isnt toronto, and it would be really nice for the miami fans to see him finish his career there, especially alongside the shaq-daddy.but i dont know too much about his contract, so it may just be wishful thinking.

cant wait for the highlights of the xmas day showdown between 'the wall and the corvette' should be a cracking game. theyre not showing it live over here. but ill see it tuesday. havent seen either team play a full game yet so i couldnt really call it, but maybe miami,as shaq is in good form.

Posted by Omegasox on Dec-24-2004 03:10:

There are rumors that Mourning is going to retire rather than play for the Raptors. So we may have seen the last of him.

Posted by itsTrueSonic on Dec-24-2004 03:38:

well peeps ..
it looks like a merry christmas for indiana .. jermaine o'neals suspension has been reduced, and it looks like he is going to play the christmas day game against the pacers ..

look out detroit .. pacers have held their ground without their top players.. they have a big advantage now over detroit .. detroit seems not to be in sync at the moment .. maybe later .. but not now

What a great game for the Miami Heat, They made a huge comeback on the 4th quarter beating the Sacramento Kings 109-107.

Heat look good... ashame no one from the East can be the best 3-4 teams from the West in a 7 game series!

Posted by TigerClaw on Dec-28-2004 10:18:

The Heat are on fire this season, They beaten the Atlanta Hawks 116-102, This is the Miami Heat's 12th straight win in a roll, There winning streak continues.
