Wow, what a trip that was. Just got back from the airport and I'm exhausted...

I was there on friday. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

I don't give a shit what you armchair kids thought of it coming from some web stream somewhere. People can say what they want about the mixing, that was hardly the point of the show anyway. The man can put on a great show and keep an amazing atmosphere on such a big venue which isn't easy at all.

I wouldn't call myself a Tisto "fan" (most of his recent productions have been a bit of a hit and miss - although hearing 25 000 people sing Love Comes Again was quite nice ) but I enjoyed myself regardless.

Like, WTF? He obviously can mix great when he doesn't want to be lazy....why does he have to be so lazy sometimes.

Dave

Thats it,

When people just bash him saying he cant mix for shit , it just shows how little they know about him and they are just jumping on the 'pay out Tiesto band waggon'

This is a guy who is behind some for the best sets/cd's (Magik 6, ISOS, Energy 2000 etc) so he can mix very well if he wants....

He was there so STFU! You cant have an opinion about a party which you did not attend, TIC was awesome and tietso has proven me again why he is no1 dj of the world

why should i? the vast majority of people that vote in that gay dj competition have never even seen the djs live. i have seen tiesto before so i am valid to make a point about him i wasnt talking about the concert i was giving my opinion on tiesto u should learn to read posts properly before u start giving abusive

he gets paid enough to put the effort into his sets. he deserves a bashing sometimes if he gets paid a load of money and doesnt put 100% effort into it

Saturday was a great night!!! Last hour was out of this world! Muscally it was better then last year. Ok beatmatching wasnt spotless 100% but I dont really care. Partying is about dancing, good music, having fun and meeting new people. It is not about listining if the DJ is mixing spotless or track IDing and making tracklist.

there are some extensive reviews on the event in the Party Reports section of
www.tiesto.com

Wankers, this is the party/rave info blabla REVIEW forum. So stop jerking off at a livestream or mp3 and actually go to the/a party.
You cant give your opinion about a party only based on this shit....!
Only some in this thread were actually there, respect that.

My 2 cents .......

finally you are making some sense snuggle!

Sounds awesome. No offense, but I'm surprised at such a positive review about Tijs from you.

And to the rest of the people in this thread, arguing; shut the fuck up. Some people liked it, some people didn't. It's as easy as that. You're not going to change one's own taste.

As far as mixing goes, I'm going to go on the defense really quick. At a live event, mixing doesn't matter as much as some would like, and quite frankly when I'm seeing a DJ live I don't pay attention to the mixing as much as I pay attention to the atmosphere and the individual tracks themselves. If it's a great mix, and happen to love it, great. If it's a poor mix, I don't care.

You only paid attention to it at home because you weren't surrounded by 20,000 people dancing their asses off; you were at home, sitting in your chair waiting to criticize a DJ for doing what he's supposed to do; impress the people at the event, not you on the other side of the world.

My thoughts exactly!
