maybe Bush will trip and break his neck and Die while walking down some steps today. Only problem with that is VP Cheney is more nuts that he is. Cheney would probably try to invade China or something

The Blind Leading the Blind or Idiots voting for an idiot
I posted this another thread as well but felt I should also post it here.....
Wow what a sad day this must be for the world. I hope the United States realizes just what a destructive wheel it has set in motion today. Not only have American voted Bush into office, they have also reinforced Republican control of the House and put more Republicans in the Senate. Bush can now appoint literally anyone he wants into the Supreme Court.
So to summarize, a man who did NOT receive the popular vote in his original campaign four years ago, who did NOT receive a mandate by the people and won through sneaky and coercive means now has used fear-mongering in order to scare the public into voting. He now also has pretty much control of the House, The Senate, and soon, the Courts. Three entities that are supposed to be separate.
I remember someone in history who also used sneaky and fear-mongering methods to consolidate power in order to fight a war. He lived in Germany in the 1940s, you might have heard of him.
Remember this day, for every Canadian that has ever made fun of the intellectual capacity of an American, you now have concrete facts to back up your ridicule. Americans have made a grevious mistake today, and I genuinly hope that the world will not suffer for it.....
I feel so sorry for all the people who voted for kerry. It must be a hell to live under a regime of the dictator Bush.
I know one person that is probably celebrating by eating another 5,000 calories at some rich NY eatery. Michael Moore
you know he secretly wanted Bush to win and I believe a film will be created for that purpose.
I mean who else can he direct his venom at?
to get him the one thing that he wants more than anything, which is cash.
where else can a pompous windbag make a lie mockumentary and make a studio 200 million + and get himself even richer in the process.

Hey JM, i hope you don't have any plans to travel overseas anytime soon.
If you do, then maybe you will get to experience the hate that people now have for Americans because of George Bush and his government.
Your once much-loved and admired country is now despised by many, including people in countries that the US regards as allies such as in Australia in Europe and in the UK.
Enjoy....
P.S. I personally don't hate Americans, only your government....oh yeah, and rap too.

Talk smack about Bush, Republicans, the electoral system all you want - but it end it was the Democrats who caused their own loss.
I have to agree with TTA on Michael Moore, to an extent.
Michael Moore has honourable intentions (i think), but the guy is a hippocrite and he has used many techniques similar to the mainstream media and the government to get his point across. He has a habit of presenting arguments emotively, rather than backing them up with facts.

I agree with that completely. The Democrats launched a tough campaign, but unfortunately, due to human nature, FEAR is the overriding factor. FEAR is what got him into office again and it is FEAR that will make this world a scarier place over the next four years.

but we all know that 98% of the Bush haters live in Europe and the Middle East. I mean I dislike Bush because of the decisions concerning trade that has been made with Canada, that has affected our industries and hurt jobs here but I did not vote and I live in Canada not the United States.

What is all this talk of fear causing votes for Bush? Look at what states Bush won. What do 99% of those people have to fear? Is this what the foreign press is spouting? If this fear really existed, cities/states like NY, LA, SF, Chicago, Seattle, wouldn't have voted Kerry.
