No, I don't hold American citzenship, nor would I want to. But this election affects the whole world and I am not alone, by far, in condemning Mr. Bush. Last time I checked, over 55 million people voted for Kerry and the rest of the world was united in their anger against the Bush administration.

We have good reason to separate church and state. Do you not know history? Do you not realise the wars and problems religion has caused? There is public pressure to allow gay right because we have a Charter of Rights and Freedoms which governs us, NOT the fucking Bible. I do NOT see how two gays getting married in a civil union affects people who aren't gay. Nor do I see how a woman having a discreet abortion brings the country to its knees. Abortion in particular is an issue that was RESOLVED in 1973. There is a legal precedent for it...but it's clear Bush wants to get rid of it.

The only people who have made any allegations of a draft returning to this country are Kerry, and others on the left. Bush has been quite clear on his stance that he would not look to reinstate the draft. The volunteer armed forces works fine. If you believe there is a draft coming, you are falling for fear tactics from the left.

I think nobody cares in the world what he has done for the country.
One of his important responsibilities is foreign policy.He is the first president in the history of the Us with such a bad foreign policy. He started wars with no evidence. He said that Iraq had nuclear waepons while he knew that he lied. He is a crook. And Cheney who gave the soldiers persmission to torture the prisoners.
Iran is no guesswork cause the 2 criminals are crazy enough to repeat there inhuman attitude.
And I think that the foreigners knows better what kind of man Bush is then the Americanes self. The American channels are very neutral like the FOX LOL. The most of the Americanes have no idea what is happening in the real world. What can I say? Back to reality

A huge part of the problem is that Americans are simply the best at denial.

Bush has never admitted to ANY mistakes, but he has made too many to list. This attitude has spilled over to too many Americans...even though the evidence is there STARING them in the face, they think things are all ok. "We're the best because we're American."

Mark my words...huge wakeup call coming.

Wow- you're are quite possibly the biggest idiot of the day- Clinton was actually well regarded for his foreign policy. It would never happen but there was even talk of trying to make him head of the UN.

And a lot of people "Liked" Kerry, just because they didn't "like" Bush. It's a 2 way street. I agree with you that human nature(At least gut reactions) is often confrontational/combative. At least in many cases.

Still, the best thing those who are upset today can do for themselves is to rise above their anger, show some character, and be gracious. Just because they didn't get their man for President doesn't mean they can't still lobby for changes they see fit. Democracy exists far beyond the presidency.

Wow...you really have a skewed view on the world man. First of all, I don't want to be American...I'm perfectly happy being a British Canadian. But the United States is (for now) the most powerful country in the world and has the most responsibility in regards to foreign policy. Because this election will DIRECTLY affect not only me, but every person on earth is some way, big or small, I have the ABSOLUTE FUCKING right to comment on this election.

And if you understood American politics...this is the current situation. The President, GWB, is a Republican. He holds executive power. The two Houses, the Senate and the House of Representatives, designed to provide checks on the President (the President also has checks on both houses)...are now controlled by the Republicans. They have total control over the government and will have a much easier time passing bills.

Bush has already stated his desires to cut back, if not totally ban, abortions. He wants to block all federal funding for stem cell research. He is going to try to ban gay marriages. He is going to ask for more money (billions) to fight the war in Iraq and other military ventures he is planning. And there is every reason now to think he'll get these initiatives passed.

Do your homework.

This election woke up a lot of people to the current political situation and many more people are involved. I don't think it will be as easy to push things through anymore.

so let's go down the line here, I don't give two shits if Bush blocks federal funding for stem cell research. Let him ban gay marriage, I think that is a good thing (totally another topic) and I don't pay American Taxes, so funding the war in Iraq means nothing to me. So that's no score for you

You have every right to voice your opinion but your opinion is tired and pathetic because you offer no reasons, you compare Bush to Hitler, yet you don't say anything about it. The bush election does not affect you directly, it affects you indirectly. Just as I thought, you don't have the balls, you talk a big game but you won't try to do anything about it, rather than bitch and whine on this forum.
