Please take note world:

This is a President elected by Rural White and Southern White American voters.

The President made large efforts to get as many of these voters to support his religious agenda; which ironically has no solid relationship with the Christian faith. He kills people in a War which is not in accord with the Christian faith but proclaims his righteousness in his stand against gays.

That type of duplicity in religion ( which bares slim resemblance to Christianity) garners support from Southern American voters which also have a weird or misinformed understanding of Christianity .

The importance a religious movement for Bush was his strategy to convince stupid southern Americans what the true definition of religion and politics should be.

This was an important step because Southerns could be convinced what to believe in their religion. This was possible because with the lowest literacy rates in America ; Southerns rarely if ever read the bible. They rely on Evangelists to tell them what is right and wrong. They are sheep in this religious propaganda.

Thus Bush was clever not to mention to these same Southern voters how their own religion does not condemn his tax cuts, his disregard for the poor, and policies abroad.

The Bush brainwash for the south worked well on these idiots because obviously his entire economic policy was against their own interest. But his one issue on anti-gay marriage became the most important issue for them. They were convinced that they would rather live in poverty and stupidity than allows gays to have rights. But dont be surprised. These are the same white southern voters who believed blacks should not have rights either.

Please take note :

The entire North Eastern United States , California, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota voted Kerry.

All Southern States voted bush too (exception for Ohio, Iowa, and Missouri which voted for Bush by slim margins).

Please put your anger to the Southern White Americans not all Americans. The problem and stupidity of America lies within this area of America.

Thank You

American Citizen

Bush was elected nationwide. You don't school someone by nearly 4m total votes using just the South. You cite my state of Wisconsin. Kerry barely pulled the state out. And Iowa, which went for Bush, is by no means a "Southern" state. Nor is Colorado. Nor Nevada.

The Telegraph leader editorial says it best:

quote:

Second-term presidents are often less radical, and it may be that Mr Bush will appoint less abrasive colleagues in order to ameliorate America's image abroad.

But the country he leads is diverging from Europe: it is younger, more self-confident, more prosperous, more devout, more diligent, more democratic and, in short, more conservative. Europe must come to terms, not only with Mr Bush, but with the nation that has elected him.

This is a president who really can speak for America.

I am sorry but your counter-argument does not make my premise false.

These states you mentioned are but a few exceptions to the larger number of 'southern states' which voted for Bush and the overwhelming 'northern states' which voted for Kerry.

Can someone please provide a colored diagram of the final electoral map to prove my point?

Thank you.

You're right, and that's what's really sad, the majority of people who would've been helped by Kerry's programs do not live in cities.

Apply my view of the southern voter in my thesis to rural America.
Apply my view of the 'northern voters' to urban America.

These groups have the same education, religious beliefs, and economic/social concerns.

My premise is not weakened but my definition of southern voter and liberal voter has changed.

BTW:

Nevada voted Bush because it was one of the only few States in America that had huge economic growth during the last four years. Thus its citizens felt that an anti-tax president would be in their best economic interest. Nevada is usually Liberal. This should be no surprise given that Nevada is the only state in the United States where prostitution and gambling is legal

Liberal states had areas also which voted Republican because these consist of the wealthy and affluent voters who support a president which will support their economic interests. This non- city population should not be confused with the general definition of rural America; which is misinformed, lacks proper educations, highly religious, and poor. This non city population in these Major Northern States ( New York , Illinois, California, Delaware, Pennsylvania, etc) primarily consist of affluent voter who will vote for their economic interest not religious interest. As a result you see certain areas within these liberal states which cast a vote for an anti-tax president. This is not the stupidity but rather good judgment for their own self interest.

I provided it in another thread, and it does not prove your point.

Damn... why all the hate fellas?

Has anyone suggested stop hating and complaining about the current administration and try to look on the bright side? Or try and help out with a future administration?

Every day I come in here it seems to be more and more of this meaningless drivel, like the Bush administrations is out to get YOU, and YOU are severely affected by it, and YOU are the one getting screwed.

So, in the words of Jon Stewart... STOP! You're hurting America.

You are making a lot of assumptions about the great state of Nevada - While prostution and gambling is legal (and NV is not the only state where gambling is legal... I know MS and I believe NJ is also?) -- but being a person that has visited Nevada often (my father lives there) -- the people are as "liberal" as you might think. It's the tourists who gamble, and bang the prostitutes. The majority of the Nevada populous (which isn't much) is around Reno/Carson city and Las Vegas, and are in my opinion victims of association with the above tendacies. In any case, I believe (and the current election plus past ones) that Nevada is no more liberal than any other state that surrounds it.

Anyway, my 2 cents.

I really like when people say they are going to move because Bush is president. It's like working at disney world as a ride operator and leaving the job because you don't like the CEO. In the end no one will care and life will go on.
