what i ment was not that anybody can sue everybody for anything
what i ment was why do they spend so much money on those fat lawyers instead of cheaper ones, millions and millions of dollars is not a bone you can throw at the dogs

because the more you pay for a lawyer, the better the lawyer will be.

for example: if you pay �10,000 for a lawyer to defend you in a murder trial, you are less likely to be aquitted than if you had hired a lawyer for �100,000, as the expensive lawyer knows his shit a lot more/knows dirty little get-out tricks/knows how to bring others into disrepute etc etc etc.
