Once I've seen a DJ 3-4 times, the crowd gets a little more important. It only matters when those drugged out scummy people are bumping into you again and again all wigging out. Or just being complete A holes. For a really good DJ, the setup is wack. It gets so packed it gets unbearably hot and then you got these wacked out people to deal with instead of enjoying the music.

It really does depend upon the DJ though. DJ's like Ferry Corsten bring a little more people who enjoy EDM and behave themselves somewhat rationally. Party hard..... just don't get up in my business too.

Crowd doesn't matter much to me. As long as there is one and it's not wall to wall packed. I'm fine.

On to Crobar. Best I can get from my friend there is that I should plan on pretty much either dancing or standing. If I want to sit. I'm gonna pay to do it. I've seen Glaude plenty of times and doc Marten was kinda boring last I heard (which is way back), but only other choice for friday is back to Avalon for Marco V. Which scummy and techno go well together. Scummy and trance don't.

so what do i need to take the next day to feel ok so I can teach the blind, deaf, foreign kids how to speak english...

Its the damn fobs young/old dont matter, and then the muscle dudes, in that order!! Although for ferry i didn't really see much shirtless muscle guys, Thats what makes that club horrible, being packed with that.

funny you should ask! while we were over in amsterdam, i saw this stuff they were selling in one of the magic mushroom shops... they were pills, some kind of cracked-out cure for almost any drug you can think of. i thought that was kind of interesting.

why the hate on the east asians? =P

i don't care too much about the crowd.... people are trying to just have fun. i think some people just get too serious when they're in a club. i've been to many different places and never really bump into any assholes.

I have never heard of that, the only thing I know of that is available like that is a injection used by medics when someone is overdosing to take them out of it.

Its probably some vitamins and supplements.

Me being a interested party in hot Asian girls would like to see them get a little better looking at Avalon (sorry I'm shallow). As I said earlier, there's a large contingent around 50 years old and they sure aren't Milf's. Plus, you get some of the older guys that come over and grope the girls.

There's this one girl who I see everytime I go out and her eyes are so bulging her nickname has become "Bug Eyes." Memo: take 4 less E... 2 looks like enough for ya.

Obviously, I'm also an age discriminist.

I guess they have the right to party too....

It's New York...the standard should be higher. I know you native New Yorkers out there know more of what's going on than me.... so why has all this mess happened just recently?

simple solution to this:

don't go to avalon EVER, you're 100X better off at Crobar.

Yeah, but the DJ's at Avalon sometimes overcome the mess that exists.

I just like to see my trance DJ's sometimes too....

yeah that kind of stuff does make it suck

My rule for avalon is pretty much to go there only for Ferry
