Isn't Balance 005 from 2003? It's one of my favorite albums from that year anyway..
My fav albums from 2004 (in no order):
Trafik - Bullet
Sasha - Involver
Anthony Pappa - Balance 006
Palash - One
Sander Kleinenberg - This Is Everybody Too
Way Out West - Don't Look Now

Out of which Bullet is probably my favorite..

thats it for me, without question. no EDM cd has drawn me in for so many relistens recently. plus since its sander- it has everything i love about EDM, not just breaks, epic or vocal. it runs roughshod over the best songs and genres from house to trance.
Balance 006 cd1 was near GU013 quality tho, and DLN is quite nice. Shine is killer, def a Max production|
Sander Kleinenberg- This is Everybody Too

Hmmmmm..I've reviewed and bought so many albums this year
Sasha - Involver
CL - All or Nothing
WoW - Don't Look Now
but my fave would have to be a CD compilation on Timo Maas's 4:20, I can remember what they changed the name to, it was mixed by Cirillo, the CD that I liked the most and it included some nasty vocal tech house, some dirty as feck house and it included hybrid and then ended off with the always fist pumping Slam - Lifetimes
biggest disappointment was GU026
ask me in the first week of Jan, I'm still waiting on 5 more CDs to be released in the next 3 weeks and one of them may surpass it.
A toss up between:
Sasha - Involver
Sander Kleinenberg - This is Everybody Too
Honorable mentions:
James Holden - Balance 005
Infusion - Six Feet Above Yesterday

NuBreed - The Original
Rae & Christian - Northern Sulphuric Soul
DJ Marky & XRS - In Rotation

Reason, its amazing. The sounds he uses, the way things flow. Really good album. It gets my vote as the 2004 best CD award.
