+1.

Luke Chable and Nubreed - One Day (4 on the floor mix)
Grayarea - Gravity (Grayarea's Albatross Mix)
Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Nu Nrg mix), I think it's because I loved the original so much that it took a while to get used to.

Agreed. I think I like it more than the original now. More depth. I just wish they didn't always have the same hard kick and bass.

oh cmon, you really think the nu nrg mix TOPS the original mix AND has more depth ? hmmmmmm if you like it more than the original then thats your taste, but the orginal has way more depth than the nu nrg mix.. the whole intro to breakdown, to where the melody begins, and the general atmosphere that the track creates has much more of a deeper feel than the nu nrg remix.. nu nrg remix is great but is more of an 'all up in your face' style of a mix[which is the case for most of nu nrg tracks..] they emphasized bit more than the original on that last part of the melody, where the notes change up a bit[this is my fav part of the track].

I don't think there has been an experience like that for me except for one track I remember:

Vernon's World - Wonderer (ATB Mix)

The first time I heard this track, I wasn't very fond of it.
So I deleted the song from my comp. Then after a week, I felt like I needed the song. So I downloaded it again.

Tracks that have grown on me have probably been:

Delerium - Silence (Dj Tiesto Remix)

I remember I would think this song was very average. But then this song just grew on me so rapidly.

Tranquility Base - "Razorfish" (Above & Beyond Progresiive Mix) i thought it was ok at the start now it's my 5th fav of all time.

Above & Beyond - "Far from in love"
Yilmaz ??????? - "80's" (Ozgur Can Rmx)

and some ovas

Yes, I thought Free Fall was just an average-sounding tune at first. I heard it again and, wow.

Solid Sessions - Janeiro (James Holden Remix)

First heard this on an Anthony Pappa's live set and was like ehhh... because i expected somethin more from holden, then the second time was like "what the hell was i thinkin before this is awesome!" gotta love james holden's unique style

Of the top of my head:

Tiesto's "Adagio for Strings" sounded too rough the first time I heard it. Second time around I realized it was great.

Also, the first time I heard "Nyana" (the track) I was unimpressed but that changed.

I'll also throw in my vote for "Whiteroom" as well.
