cool wonder if it has any hormonal side effects like the girls' shot... not many, or barely any girls can handle the emotional/hormonal craze the shot can put your body through...

i don't know what its like where you are, but here in the UK they have just brouhgt out a new implant. before you had to have like 3 implants or something, now its all in one. there were none of the side effects that you mentioned in any of the literature, and none even that we can notice (apart from a tiny bit of irregularity at first, but a girl will get that with any hormone treatment).

i suggest you get a second opinion as my fiancee was never told of any of this quads business

i hope we dont end up with quads now, that would be a bit expensive :/

Thanks for that, i wasn't aware they had come out with a single implant. I was referring to the one where you had to have 3 of them.
Will definitely look into it, seems a much simpler idea than having to renew depo every 3 months

weird, the depo provera or whatever shots that my friends were on here in canada, lasted for 6 months, not three...

nnope same brand, unless i remember wrong.. but im pretty positive (99%) it was 6 months.

Hmmm i don't know, i normally get my shots in Ireland. Never had them in Canada yet, and the ones i get here are always 3 month shots.
I don't think i'd want to do 6 months straight on depo i'd turn into a psycho otherwise... depo does nothing for my happy hormones lol

i'd probly take the shot but i'd prefer my shots of Demerol which i was receiving last week, having my appendix taken out

I think the idea is that you would use the withdrawl method along with the shot.
