It cant be too long, because ive never heard anybody have the problem that their swim skill isnt high enough to do missions.

Exclamation SPOILER!

I can't stand Catalina. I can't believe that kunt is in this game. She's the bitch that fucks you over at the very beginning of GTA III...and what made me go was that it's in this game (prequel, if you will) that she "meets" the main character of GTA III, who's nameless, so I just call him the "GTA III Guy."

But GOD, I wanna kill Catalina...

...alas, the GTA III Guy winds up doing that for me at the end of GTA III.

lol i fuckin' hate catalina but i gotta love her kinky latin accent , i would fuck her up till she loses her mind

Posted by chojin on Dec-16-2004 19:57:

i only just completed it after a few days solid play. that game took over my life for the last week or so im currently 60.97% through the game. i know of loads i need to do though:

oysters, driving school, racing missions, zeros missions, the hiest missions, horsehoes, all territory, all property, paramedic missions, firefighter missions......etc etc etc.

the glitch that allows you to do the vigilante mission helped me a lot through the game. having 150 armour pick ups that is did the last mission on my first try, and without being fireproof

You don't need those for 100%

OMFG i just did some of the 'learning to fly' missions and i now hate this game

Sooo many hours of my life wasted trying to fly a plane through a goddam hoop

Posted by fastmp3 on Dec-17-2004 11:34:

i'm actually stuck in the learn to fly missions which fuckin sucks

Posted by chojin on Dec-17-2004 12:29:

yeah the flying missions were probably the most annoying part of the game. once thier done you have an equally annoying mission...

but then after that you don't have to worry about flying in the rest of the game. well, not flying through hoops anyway.

Right i hadn't play this for 6 weeks or so and I unlocked the 3rd Island and ive done all the casino missions i think, now im busy getting all the territory.

I still haven't managed to do the missions from the electrics shop, im still stuck on the mission where you have to fly the remote control plane and kill the 5 delivery drivers. Is there any easy way of actually doing this? Does it make a difference if you kill the 2 delivery drvers to the right of the shop first, or if you kill the 3 near the shop first then the other 2 or does it make no difference what so ever?

single hardest mission in the game. Its not required to advance story lines, so if it frustrates you too much, just skip it (i did)

and most 'strategies' ive read say go north first and kill those two, then come back. It still hasnt worked for me.

All i did for that was just swim in the sea for about half an hour back and forward then your sorted.

Posted by Cloud on Mar-06-2005 21:06:

I passed it...thanks...
now "I am learning to fly"

Posted by Spad on Mar-07-2005 12:39:

Funny, I did the remote control plane mission first time, but took me about 20 attempts to beat Wu Zi in that first race. Probably because I'd never driven a car at that point except for missions so my skill was shite.

32% through at the moment, just done the mission on San Fierra where you take out Jizzy.

Posted by Turner on Mar-07-2005 20:33:

Just finished all the missions, all i have left to do is the usual things like the vigilante missions and to do that flying mission where you have to kill the delivery drivers. Time to start MGS 3.

Posted by Turner on Mar-07-2005 20:38:

Actually ive just thought, your girlfriend where all the casinos are, what happens when you get the pass of her?

Posted by j_spot on Mar-08-2005 05:43:

you rob the casino.

Posted by Spad on Mar-09-2005 13:12:

I've not really been challenged by any of the missions except the driving ones, coz my driving skill is so shite. The one where you have to drive through the city and back for the Driving School was a bastard.

re. the remote control plane...I just landed it before shooting. The gun seems to come equipped with a hefty amount of autoaim

I'm on the flying mission where you gotta drop off the supplies in the hoop, but I can't stay low enough without crashing so they keep catching me on radar and chucking missiles at me....only had a few attempts, spending too much time on the slots

Posted by Cloud on Mar-12-2005 15:15:

any1 knows if the Quarry missions are required to advance the story?

Posted by j_spot on Mar-12-2005 18:20:

no, quarry is an asset. It is not needed to advance plot.

Posted by Turner on Mar-12-2005 20:42:

How many places are there than generate money i think i only have 2, the car show room and the airfield, possibly 1 more but i cant think.

Posted by j_spot on Mar-12-2005 22:12:

I dont think my list is complete, but here we go
Your house
car dealer
airfield
valet parking
hippy shopper
truck stop
quarry

I've only had the game since january, but here is my progress so far...

Los Santos: i've finished everything, mission strands, territory, shells, and so forth except, ONE unique f'n jump! now i hate this about SA.. i tried every stunt jump but i didn't get the 500 bonus on one. i don't know which one i failed. this ibviously creates a problem because if i try to jump one (one that i already made correctlt) i get nothing. and if i jump the one that i missed (but do a bad job) i get nothing. how do i know do which one is missing? aaargh!

does anyone know how to determine the one i failed?

Badlands:
Complete

San Fiero:
Still need to complete a few more missions. i finished driving school, woozie, the pimp's, and a few others. i need to do valet, zero's mission strand, the stunt jumps, shells, pictures and so forth.

A TIP

I had a really hard time in the los santos mission 'Wrong Side of the Tracks' (the one with the motorcyle and train). I must have tried it like 30 times. I rode the motorcylce next to the train but Smoke never finished them off so i tried a shortcut and it worked:

Get on the motorcycle and speed up ahead of the train. When the tracks turn left (when they turn to go northbound) there is a street crossing with a gate that comes down. Right next the gate is a metal bridge that you can walk on. Get off of the motorcyle and walk onto the metal bridge (the west side of the bridge)and wait for the train to catch up. (Leave Smoke there.) When the train goes wizzing by, jump on the train and then take out the Vagos. There will be a pededestrian crossing ahead that will knock you off, but there is enough time to kill the four Vagos if you have an AK47. You'll leave Smoke behind, but when you get knocked of you can just get back to him and he'll be waiting for you at the bridge.

I made it up and it worked. I haven't seen this anywere so i thought i'd post it.

EDIT

I hope someone can help me solve the uniqe stunt jump dilema. Thanks!
