There was an article in the scottish daily mail in the entertainment section about this poll.

Basically they were questioning the credability of it and they interviewed a woman from dj mag (scotland). She basically said - they don't set any rules, people vote for whoever they want and they include them - wether it's a dj or not. Why in gods name is it called a fuckin top 100 dj's poll.

The fact that nu nrg make it into a DJ poll says a lot for the people who actually vote in this farce ie. they don't have a clue about anything to to with dance music. I think it also mentioned the contoversy over atb getting into the top twenty when he was meant to have given up dj'ing 18 months ago (i don't actually know if that is true or not as I don't actually know who he is).

I saw BT last Summer and he's on tour right now in the U.S., though he'sbeen getting some mixed reviews. He came out with an album last year, so that helps his numbers too. In any case, you could have a general "top musicians" list without any rules and Led Zepplin would probably be near the top every year, despite not being together for years.
